Coming soon, Tinfoil body suits for the crazy.
1 or 5 plex each? What would be a good price?
I would really like to have a shiny catsuit, dont know why there isnt more shiny clothes.
very futuristic
Great job CCP
Msg me in game - Iād be happy to sell you bulk ammo that I ship from a market nearby.
I am quite old in game, not particularly a miner although I like industry and spent my time in all type of regions. I believe this change even if temporary is not a good thing, for no one.
-
@CCP who believes that it can take out mineral stocks from rich people that are sleeping in trade hubs and redistribute things. You are dreaming, it is normal for rich players to stock up, they will sell some, it will fill in market for some time then it will dry up.
-
T1 material is needed everywhere in game not allowing someone to be able to mine most of T1 in high sec is a blast to industrialist that are pvp adverse. You will loose them because why would they mine only part then only rely on market for the other⦠itās breaking the mantra of I mined it and built it myself. You completely obliterate this. There is no dream anymore of I got the minerals all by myself to build my shiny new ship. Except if you refine loot, so the miners will become missions runners ? if yes then imagine LP store prices to drop to lower price than T1 minerals (see the idiocy of this ?). Same goes for T2 where you need the T1 to build it, it will all be f****.

Rely on minerals from Null ? Hell no you canāt, when there is a big war in null, mining is altered and mining done is more to replace losses than to make profit in high sec. Again you impact High sec and low sec players. While null can decide to come in high sec or low sec and completely shut down some system to empty them of trit in an eye blink.
-
Any player that has hundreds of billions or trillions will become even more rich now knowing they needed to buy everything on market to sell it higher after the patch even though they probably donāt need a single trit (and plex their account for free). You wanted to redistribute the wealth ? well again you killed it. While the usual players will need trit and others but will have to pay it and at a higher price than usual (and have to pay their subscription since their isk is going down or less likely to go up significantly enough to cover the cost). So yes thank you for the base players that plays the game, not the ones living in null getting replenished by specialized suppliers / alliances where resources are not a problem (see how many ravens dies recently and nobody cares, we keep building them). Not the traders that harvest isk on every opportunity, not the campers who hopes even more revenue from this since you try to throw mining barge to them.

From a story point of view and geology point of view, this does not make any sense, how could the 4 empires of the center of the galaxy have developed without the much needed more rare minerals, how could have them make the huge fleets of amarr, galente, caldari or even the rusty fleets of minmatars if they didnāt had access to those minerals ? They would have fought their way out in corvettes ? This does not make any sense. Why would the galaxy have more from one mineral in a null sec compared to another high sec or null sec. It was not very natural but could be explained, now itās exagerated.

So instead of investing time and money on trigs and other things that the majority dont care (or even worse that the majority dont like), why dont you come with a real story about this and a real redistribution, because dont make us wrong, this not a REdistribution. This is a nerf, a bat nerf in the face because the players are not acting like you want them to act. You forgot all this was a sandbox and evolved the way the players made it. Try not to force it like you do with trigs again. This starts to become too much even for a vet like me. Whatever field I am looking at in the game now, Iām thinking like "what has changed there, am I still able to do that or that, then I just give up and stay where I am doing what Iām doing. While this game was not so long ago about doing and discovering everything I could do in game without such fear. Itās a game, let us play it, donāt try to interact that much !
Itās not that difficult⦠you are in HS, mine Veldspar all day long and sell it to Jita⦠You are sitting on a gold mine.
you want to produce stuffs yourself? Sell your HS tritanium and buy LS/NS minerals with your isk. That is not that complicatedā¦
I donāt get it why people wants to mine 100% of their needs.
You are correct. And this is a good thing, farmers who expect to be able to opt out of PvP in a PvP-focused game should not be pandered to. If they ragequit over it then great, more profits for legitimate industry players.
āMINERALS I MINE MYSELF ARE FREE LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLā
Every time anyone mentions āsoloā, āindustryā, āhighsecā, and some other keywords, Merin goes brrrrrr⦠and goes over and over with the same mantra, ātrash farmersā, āopt-out of pvpā, āpvp-focused gameā, ālegit farmers thoughā
My first guess is that they get more of a sense of accomplishment out of building something themselves and using it than they do from buying it.
I see youāre still determined to set the forum record for most words posted without ever adding anything constructive to a discussion.
Assuming he meant to say āaverseā and not āadverseā:
Pvp averse does not equal āexpect to be able to opt out of PVPā in the logical sense.
Even if they DO wish they could opt out, theyāre still legitimate indy players.
If heād said often, most of the time, or sometimes instead of every time he wouldnāt be wrong.
Except thatās exactly what heās talking about: industry players who demand the ability to opt out of PvP and will quit if they canāt farm everything they need without leaving highsec.
Even if they DO wish they could opt out, theyāre still legitimate indy players.
They really arenāt. Heās talking about players who donāt understand basic concepts like opportunity cost and will ragequit if they canāt farm everything in highsec, even if the changes mean greater profits for them. Itās the textbook āMINERALS I MINE MYSELF ARE FREEā mindset where competent management of production is completely ignored in favor of building everything yourself and then undercutting everyone else even if it means selling for less than the value of the stuff you used to build it.
If heād said often, most of the time, or sometimes instead of every time he wouldnāt be wrong.
Heād still be wrong because itās a nonsense point. I post similar comments multiple times because the people Iām replying to keep making the same bad arguments.
You want to replace those trash highsec farmers with legitimate industry players, which are going to⦠farm highsec. How is it not hypocrisy?
You want to force your playstyle on people who chose highsec for a reason. Ignoring human psychology and motivation. Making the game narrower and nichier. But game companies should aim at growing their population, not by simplifying and going casual, but by diversifying, adding more playstyles.
Your āyou cant play like that, its not challenging enough, its menial farmingā is childish, its not a legitimate argument, its your biased opinion. And you just keep repeating it as if it has some weight.
Because thatās not what I want. Legitimate industry players will happily operate in lowsec/nullsec as well as highsec, or happily fund the players who do (if that turns out to be more profitable).
You want to force your playstyle on people who chose highsec for a reason.
For a reason that is incompatible with EVEās basic design principles. Games like EVE succeed by identifying a target market and capturing it, not by diluting their identity in a desperate attempt at appealing to a different market that is already captured by the competition.
Your āyou cant play like that, its not challenging enough, its menial farmingā is childish, its not a legitimate argument, its your biased opinion.
Of course itās a legitimate argument. EVE has risk vs. reward as a core design principle, enabling menial risk-free farming is in direct contradiction to this principle. Iām sorry that you arenāt able to understand this concept, but your failure is not my problem.
Only your biased vision/perception of EVEās basic design principles.
What does go against EVEās basic design principles IMO is Abyssal Deadspace.
Its the source of all the mats, bpcs, skillbooks necessary to build and fly trig ships. Its raw isk faucet on top of it. Plus its instanced. Talking about self sufficiency.
Called it lazy game desing since its introduction.
And who are you to dictate me to enter PvP? EVE Online was once a game full of opportunities and rich on PvE-only actions. This redistribution is another engage to the freedom to decline PvP. The game doesnāt only consist of combat. It once has a free market system. Which dies more and more.
@GeMiPaT I totally agree with you. And this development makes me sad.
P.S.: Oh well you all can come and hit with disrespectful comments like āmimimiā or āUh another crybabyā
