don’t feed the trol. Just report him.
Dude you wanna just make stuff up about me you go ahead. Doesnt seem you like to question your position. Thats pretty unscientific of ya, dawg.
You have no idea what zkill is do you?
It’s incredible how many complaints. Rolf.
+1
the amount of mining in low its annoying
Don’t get salty, I am trying to figure out your position. If you got something to say to me get on with it already.
Ok, so what does this mean?
And what does it have to do with the fact that 2 AFK characters make more isk/hr than 1 attentive player attempting to mine on one account and PvP on another?
I never said AFK miners make more ISK than an active miner. AFK miners do not conituously mine as an active miner would which menas the AFK miners are sitting there doing nothing and the active miners is making sure to keep rock locked and the bonus from their skills rolling. I also have no problem that the one miner gets out mined by a multi boxer. The only reason I even complain about AFKERS and BOT CHEATERS is the fact that CCP use that as an excuse to punish miners and ratters. Multi box players are far more important to this game than a single player. We dump more money into the game than a single player and we are not doing anything that a single player can’t do. PLEX and SKILL INJECTORS do far more damage to the player seeded economy that any BOT player can do. At least a AFK player and A BOT faces risk. When somone buys risk free PLEX and risk free skill training from SKILL INJECTORS, CCP is generating revenue and creating the exact problem they villainize the BOT for. If you buy PLEX and SKILL INJECTORS while complaining about AFKERS AND BOT, you are no better and in fact you are far more damaging to the game that a BOT or AFK player.
Plex did not hurt the game. Injectors did. Injectors should have had at least a sub cap limit. Meh…
Yeah, but you did tho say this
And I replied an attentive miner isnt going to leave his account running 23/7, which an afk miner is.
Then you moved the goal posts by giving an attentive miner an alt who was doing missions or pvp or whatever. So I gave the AFK miner an AFK mining alt to allow him to compete.
That should be you up to speed on how far the conversation has progressed, aside from your screeching about bots.
PLEX is a risk free way for a player to get wealthy. If you are going to punish a player for a risk free activity, than the only thing fair to do is to punish all of the risk free activities. As for me, I think CCP needs to stay the ■■■■ out of out sandbox and manipulating the market so the can generate PLEX revenue.
I use too until the ore redistribution. It would be nothing for me to play EVE for 16 hours a day or more. My kids are all grown and out of the house and I have all kinds of free time now and money too. You can say that honest folks don’t play EVE that long because we do.
You may have misunderstood what I said. What I was saying is, AFK miners are the guys in the big alliances in null sec. While they are running roams and gate camps, they use an alt to AFK mine in high sec. Gankers do the same thing as the big alliance player. while they are out ganking people, they have an alt AFK mining in high sec. How you twisted that around, I don’t know.
Your not looking to be up to speed, your looking to troll because I must have pointed out something you do.
Plex is the only way to put rl $ into the game. You should have been around when the only way to put money into the game to support WD’ing all the null blocks in rotation cost more than you could make from loot/pve/etc. Plex did not hurt the game.
This I totally agree with 100%.
For the past few years CCP has been hell bent on turning this sandbox game into a scripted theme park, all the while removing the player’s option of choice. Sad thing is CCP doesn’t realize or won’t acknowledge their actions are just chasing players away. The average log-in numbers should be much higher than what they currently are, especially with an active world pandemic currently happening.
And Plex prices are down.
I played EVE long before PLEX was introduced.
I wonder what the real numbers are for multi box uses are. How much of an effect does multi box players have on that long in player count? What would the player count look like if there as not multi box players. I know I count for 6 people when I am logged in.
I just said that the other day too.
The Log-In numbers are amounts of accounts, not players. The actual amount of players is much lower than the Log-In amount. You say you represent 6 people, I guess what you meant to say is that you have 6 accounts. If they’re all Omega and you log them in at the same time, then you as 1 player would have added 6 accounts to the Log-In numbers. I have 4 accounts and if they were all Omega and I logged them into the game, then I would have added 4 to the Log-In amount. Basically that’s 2 players who would have added 10 to the Log-In amount.
Also the Log-In numbers we all see on the Launcher when logging into the game are calculated at specific intervals of time. I don’t know the specifics of how often the Launcher updates the Log-In numbers. Those numbers could very well be misleading depending on the Log-In update time interval.
I was just wondering how many people actually do play EVE.
