Except it didn’t solve THAT problem either. How hard is it to grasp that it did NONE of the things that you seem to think it will? This has been tried before, it failed, spectacularly. The 2013 change was created BECAUSE of the problems with what we’re going BACK to.
They should just have a graduated reduction of ore quantities across the board. So like high sec belts are cut in size by half. Rarer stuff by like 80%. Low sec is middle ground, but still gets a reduction all around. Null gets some higher end rare ores, but receives very little common stuff. Still sees less volume in all belts.
The point being, no one area should be completely deprived of any mineral type, but it should be much harder to accumulate or acquire without being willing to travel to where it’s abundant. That would drive risk taking, travel, exploration, market transactions, etc.
Also, “no one area should be completely deprived of any mineral type“. I’m not suggesting high sec should get ABCD, either, or any zydrine/megacite. Lol. But, greatly reduced spawns of kernite, jasper, hemo, hermophite, etc. maybe could occasionally happen.
Yeah, that’s the main point of contention here. Because for me and many others there is no issues here at all. Therefore from this standpoint it looks like CCPs are trying to fix things that aren’t broken greatly inconveniencing many people in the process.
Exactly.
Don’t mine, don’t do Planetary Interaction, don’t research, don’t do this, don’t do that… Pretty soon, you’re paying to just be able to fly a certain ship… not worth my time or my money.
You are talking to someone deliberately breaking CCP’s NPC impersonation rules, who is deliberately ignoring and misinterpreting posts, and who just wants to complain and whine about this without even knowing what changes will happen.
Also yes, maybe it will increase PvP, but it’s not the main reason. Just a possible side effect.
Except it didn’t fail. It worked, interdependence and trade between the regions happened. Trit flowed from Highsec to Null. High ends flowed from Null to High. Low sec got left with nothing unique so got ignored of course, which is different this time around, and we’ve had new mining ships introduced or changed which are ideal for low sec operations.
That’s one of the things they want to solve, how easy things are. Also you clearly haven’t paid attention to how null are just churning out entire fleets in a day.
I have read large parts of it, posted in it multiple times before (which you could have seen if you had read it), and did read your reply to which I responded.
I have. Participation in a thread kind of requires reading the posts to know what’s going on and be able to respond or change your mind if a post shows you to be wrong in your thinking.
I’ve spelled what my issues are throughout this thread. If you can’t be bothered to read my responses, I can’t be bothered to rewrite what I already posted.
My time is worth as much as yours.
No, it didn’t. Major groups that later became alliances made damn sure it didn’t. Trit did not flow to null in any way shape or form. I was in charge of logistics for a corp in Aridia and Fountain at the time. You have a fantasy of what supposedly happened.
but…but…but…they have a plan. trust them. but the whole picture of this plan is sooooo huge they cant show us. but trust them and give them moar of your fcking money asap.
Not healthly for the economy if the power bloc got much of the resources and they will. Then they can managing the among of ore on the market and dictating the prises. This Change is a bomb to the market in the long run.
Why yes, all those freighters/JF’s moving railguns never happened…
And all those high ends never appeared on Trade Hub markets…
Just because your corp was weird doesn’t mean everyone else worked the same way. Plenty of trade did happen.
But you didn’t write your issues in a clear and concise manner, it’s just rant post after rant post with a general ‘I’m not happy with the current state of EVE’ theme.
That’s why I ask of you to state what your issue with it is. Unless your issue actually is that EVE isn’t fun for you anymore, but then I’m not sure what anyone can do except encourage you to find a game that you do find fun.
