(Just an aside, but kind of interesting, and maybe a little on topic)
In the Anglo-American legal systems at least, courts are reluctant to grant restraining orders. They impinge too much on the freedom of the individual to move around and live his life. Instead, the systems prefer awarding the payment of monetary damages to the aggrieved party. That way the transgressor and the victim are both at liberty to carry on with life-- but the victim now has more power (money) for fueling his desired activities, and the transgressor has less.

In short, let the forced transfer of money from one party to the other do the talking. The two parties can work out the intricacies of how they want to behave and interact after that on their own.

Our very own Juntuu has posted an amazing idea concerning restraining orders on the official eve forums located here: Restraining orders balancing the scale with Griefers - #145 by Gadget_Helmsdottir

Unfourtanately Juntuu is currently getting overwhelmed by Kalorned alts who are posting that his idea is bad, won’t work, etc. Fly Fearless will not stand for this, we fight and help our own! I’d ask that all Fly Fearless members log on to the forums as soon as you can and back up Juntuu in that thread - explain to the greater eve community via the forums how bad a person Kalorned is and how he’s ruining our corporation.

Only if we can get our message out will we receive assistance from brave eve pilots who will come to aid our alliance.

There is no such thing as “Your” territory in High Sec as there are no mechanics that allow you to lay claim to High Sec space.

Have you even read the Code? The New Order agents enforce the law by bumping and/or killing you - they control you. There’s your mechanic for holding highsec sovereignty. You are welcome.

Funny, why would Igot UrDorito Ryhere post that when that character is a Kalorned alt. We have been trying to kick him, but, he won’t dock up. The reality is, this was not about Kalorned, but, again used as an example. The reality is, this post only goes to further the amount of griefing and things that Kalornies do. It is all about the content and constant pressure. We could also post other emails that Kalorned alts post in the MRM email system. They are constant and often. They actually post them on their very own website. Scams, extortion letters, and, even claim to be MRM officers, while telling people to leave corp. The restraining order idea was not to directly combat Kalorned, but, change the way the game is played, shake things up and force every one to adapt yet again. Which is also what nearly everyone that commented said, learn and adapt. This type of message from Kalorned and his alts was not unexpected. As I said in a earlier message, it was expected and even encouraged.

This is only and idea, floating and loosely thought out. I am not going to put too much energy into it, as many have said its more of a tunnel snaked pipe dream. But, again, the advantage is on neither side, it would simply institute a mechanic that made people legal targets. This allows a micro level war dec instead of a macro war dec.
