Revamped Daily Rewards System

I like each and every change you’ve made :smiley:

  • Permanent skins which are unique to the daily reward system are, at least in my opinion, much better than temporary already existing skins. They don’t crash the market, but add value.
  • I personally like the new skill point rewards. These smaller chunks are big enough to have a visible impact on my training queue and can even finish some Level 1 skills right away. Filling up the bar to 150,000 was OK, but it felt like a chore because, even subconsciously, I was calculating when the reward will come especially when the bar is almost full. Now it’s a simple reward - I accept it, apply it and it’s done.
  • These new boosters are AWESOME. I couldn’t find a use for many of the boosters from the old system, especially if they were the most potent ones with potentially significant drawbacks. The new ones are also universally useful - half of the old ones were pretty much useless for my skillset and play style.
  • Eliminating blueprint spam was the right choice.
  • UI feels more modern and clear - great job!

RNG is poop.
From a solid consistent 50k SP for Alpha and solid consistant 150k SP for Omega, down to whatever, inconsistently… So simple I didn’t had to think about it.

However, CCP said it was too complicated for new players. So they introduced RNG, because nothing screams simplicity more than RNG and unaccountability. At least at CCP’s headquarters.

Here are my login skill rewards (no event reward), that I tracked on an Excel sheet, for simplicity, because it is more simple than the previous system that didn’t require me to think about it. So I notice that the skill injectors are given every 4 days, so in a month you basically get 7 in average. Amounts are totally random. Again for simplicity of the new system and comparison to the old complicated system, I calculated the SP earned on a 30 day average (divided by 28, times 30)

For some reason, I forgot to login my Alphas on the 20th of April, but that doesn’t impact the calculation: I go with 7 cycles of 4 days each, averaged to 30 days.

result : I “lost” 5 times out of 7 alphas, and my Omega pretty much lost 20k SP this month.
But hey! this system is much simpler than the previous one. Newbros must be happy with the change.

You must have alot of spare time, mate.

Quick question, why do the boosters have to be instantly activated after redeeming them? I’d like to choose when to apply the boosts.

because if they didnt people would set up loads of acocunts, redeem them and seel them.

You can leave them in your redeem queue however and only redeem them when you want to use them. 7 days isnt unreasonable for that.

I personally love the new changes and new look. Looks very clean.

In regards to the rewards, I also find myself using more of the boosters than before. Since they stay for a lot longer I can use them whenever I need to.

The new skin change I love as well, I didn’t really use the 30-day skins that much, but I see some now and it gives me more incentive to try them out!

Don’t really care for it. Really dislike the booster system now, the last thing I want to do just before or in the middle of a fight is open yet one more window and through a long list to see if I have anything useful.

Boosters - crap. Crap stats, crap activation system, inability to store them.
Skins - eh… ok. Not great, not terrible, just make the race-based, my gallente char gets skins for anything but race ships. A Caldari event alt got a Heron instantly - nice. Or indeed make them sellable, they don’t cost that much.
SP - eh… useful, but make them progressive, so the longer I log in, the more I get.
