Rookie Griefing Policy was updated Monday

I’m like this I can and have taken the grief, that’s not the question, the question is; “can the asslick that griefed me take the impending revenge?” Teach me something new so I can come back at you in a even more ruthless fashion.

That is the epitome of EvE, and If you don’t have this attitude…maybe this game isn’t for you.

But honestly so much is changing in EvE with all the political correctness and tender feelings, maybe that isn’t what CCP wants anymore but… If the basic premise of lawless galaxy is stripped away this game will die.

Thats becuase those bots belong to CODE players. It’s how they pay for their replacement ships.

They’ll never attack bots, because they would be attacking themselves.

simple solution, stop playing on easymode and get out of highsec. You will never risk breaking the rookie griefing policy, and you might actually get into fun fights for a change. problem solved.

And here we have the guy arguing that it’s a perfectly reasonable expectation that players should ALWAYS -at all times- be aware of the two dozen+ “rookie systems” and whether they’re in one, and also ALWAYS be aware of their target’s age, AND check the TOS for any changes EVERY SINGLE TIME THEY GO KILL SOMETHING.

This is just lack of empathy for other players due to butthurt over mean ol’ gankers.

I get it man, I do. You lost a freighter so now you don’t care. It’s butthurt.

Everyone who disagrees with me is angry that I, or an associate of mine, killed them.

Everyone who I disagree with is a carebear/casual, who needs to learn to git gud.

Who are you claiming lost a freighter?

This conversation has turned very confusing.

To answer the original point of this question. To my knowledge there has been no change in the rookie greefing policy, the knowledge base will likely show a new time stamp because the article was updated. This may very well have just been the addition of a full stop.

If you want further clarification into the policy you should file a support ticket as the clarification should come from a Game Master.

As to the idea of markers in rookie systems, make the suggestion in #technology-research:player-features-ideas as this is where CCP would likely notice the suggestion.

are you responding to the correct thread?

Jus’ saying there’s a double standard. Carebears are told to HTFU when they’re ship explodes, while gankers are told to HTFU when they receive unjust warnings/bans for violating newly implemented rules that no one bothered to announce. -or when the GM staff just arbitrarily decide to start enforcing rules differently than before.

I see what you mean. The addition of those other SOE arc systems was new to me, especially Hek. :frowning:

What’s worse is the way the GMs will play this weird, Orwellian, revisionist-history game. They’ll try to convince you that nothing has changed, the rules were always the way they are now, and we’ve ALWAYS been at war with Eurasia.

I knew we were in for revisionist history and group think the very moment CCP put the Millennial holy word word “Diverse” on their Corporate page.

In a year or so EvE is going to be so homogenized (Like when Metallica went through their emo phase) that it won’t be recognizable from the game of 2006.

What made EvE amazing won’t be there any longer, but I’m sure some Blue hair with a nose ring and a gender studies degree is whispering in managements ear and saying “It has to be this way”

Dude, they arent the ones “wispering in managements ear”

THEY ARE the ones in charge already.

PSA of the required disclaimer that i am not trying to “trigger or offend” anyone, yet facts are facts

There are so many people who agree on variations of this thought, yet it’s apparently impossible to gather them all up in one place.

I ■■■■ you not, that is hands down the most frightening book I’ve ever read.

Keep the salt coming Galaxy Pig. The amount you’re throwing around here will keep my food seasoned through next year.

Sonya, I don’t think we’ve interacted much before, nice to meet you.

Your hostility means you’re clearly very butthurt over my alliance.

I find this to be funny.

Thank you for your time.
