What do you mean, ‘and’?

Chatgpt already gave an answer. Why would he continue to think or argue further to make it a coherent suggestion?

This fundamental issue seems to be contributing to a shrinking player base.

The fundamental issue that you’re relying on chatgpt and spam rather than convincing arguments?

I see how that is problematic as it means you likely won’t convince people of your ideas, but I do not see how this fundamental issue ‘contributes to a shrinking player base’. At most it means people ignore your threads.

If EVE’s success had legs, the forum trolls definitely tripped it on purpose.

Why would you do that on purpose, Adada?

The challenge is that meaningful discussion is often lacking, leaving CCP with limited sources for guidance or feedback. When someone does try to contribute, the conversation can sometimes be derailed by unproductive comments.

Then why are you so often derailing productive meaningful discussions with unproductive comments?

As said before I would love to have a meaningful discussion, but you resort to spam and chatgpt over constructive arguments for your cause.

How did it take you this long? He has been talking this nonsense for 2 weeks now!! Mumbling on about imaginary traders who can’t list their items because modification fees are so high! When the market has 0 orders for an item, then it means there is low supply in relation to demand. That’s all it is. No trader in this game has problems with relist fees unless he’s incompetent.

As a note on ‘‘high’’ relist fees, here’s an excerpt from my trade file:

Numbers are in millions. For 1.3 trillion revenue, the relist fees are the lowest fees associated with market orders at 24b. Sales tax is the highest, but seeing it amounts to 38b for 1.3 trillion revenue, I don’t see a reason to complain about anything. No country in the world (from what i know) has taxes this low on income.

Thank you for letting me know which item has a low suppy and high demand so I can now go and turn profits on it.

Listing and modification fees causes the player base to shrink

i disagree.. USIA is turning a MAJOR profit, over that as we get peoples fees down to almost 1%

Just to clarify, there’s an important difference between listing or modifying an order—which I believe should remain free—and an order actually executing, where a fee makes more sense.

You’ve said that already, multiple times even.

It might help your cause if your communication also included interaction and not just ‘broadcasting’.

Let the market operate freely so Est.Price can naturally become more accurate and dependable.

Do you mean: “Let bots operate freely”?

If Estimated price was 2 different moving averages it would help. Just use the moving average prices already in the market map and give a way to select between regular estimated price and the dual moving averages in the escape menus.

But I know you dont care so I want to see the rhetoric….:smiling_face_with_horns:

The moving average is likely already reflected in the estimated price. However, it doesn’t address the underlying issues.

What. Underlying. Issues.?.1!

Order and listing fees discourage orders and updates, widen spreads, drain liquidity, and make the market slower and less efficient. Maybe everyone already knows?

They also reward longer term planning over 24/7 activity and discourage the use of market bots amongst other things.

Why do you insist in ignoring all counterarguments?
