Root causes

Only an ignorant person would say something like that

I can’t wait for your next outburst.

I mean, a killboard is the easiest way to gauge activity, especially in metrics that make you valuable to corps. You better be REALLY good at seeding the market if you’re going to get into a nullbloc and mine all day.

well….if your ONLY accepted ingame activity is shooting onto others you are maybe right…..fact is it is not and every person that states that ONLY a killborad would prove you play the game basicly says ‘ only pvp IS the game’ which -again- can not be less correct….

A killboard will not mirror any other game activity than pvp…..and this means saying having no killboard shows you don’t play the game is FUNDAMENTALLY WRONG TO THE CORE……

ANYBODY that denies this is simply a troll……

Shoot unto others, as they would be shot upon.

In High as in Low, in Aiko’s name bee well.

Go check out Aiko’ killboard and you’ll find out that at least of 20% of her kills are from ganking her own corpmembers to boost her numbers.

bee, sounds like Aiko is trying to call in Goonswarm.

So?

Wh0ring on killmails of fleet members about to die is common practice, particularly to offset the possible loss of an expensive fleet ship. Now, I couldn’t give less of a fu¢k about this, so not bothering to look at Aiko’s board to see what she’s been wh0ring on, but the simple fact she does a common practice doesn’t fu¢king matter.

Dryson is just jealous that I can call in a Goonswarm.

Honestly, he’s been such a thorn for so long you could probably call in half the game if he was the target.

Sitting there watching Netflix while you pretend to ‘mine’ by hitting F1 every 20 minutes is not ‘playing the game’.

One does not only get zkillboard records by shooting others.

You also get zkillboard records by being shot upon.

In EVE, anyone who spends time in space will eventually lose a ship. All of my alts, including those I never intentionally use for PvP, have some zkillboard losses. Even the ones I only ever use for mining or hauling have lost some ships.

They lose ships because they’re flying ships in space. These characters are playing the game.

Zkillboard records, losses too, are a good indication that the character is used to play the game.

It is technically possible that someone without any zkillboard records at all has been flying around playing the game and has in that time never been involved in a fight, has never been killed, and has never lost any deployable.

However, it is far more likely that such a character is simply not playing the game at all.

Gotta remember to turn off that shield booster.

Then again, it also helps to notice the Dread spawn in the Haven before it locks you.

trying to save that damn damsel…

Lots of high dps cruisers that Ravens suck at applying damage to in that one. Typhoon makes a better mission boat with its explosion velocity bonus. Clears the small stuff much faster than a Raven.

Personally, I prefer Autocannons for missions. I trained Marauders 5 for the Golem, but when I got Minmatar Battleship 5 and added the Vargur, I never flew a Golem again. Just get a little bit of range and watch the rats evaporate with every press of the F1 key.

This utterly wrong and bullshite, the root cause is CCP’s decisons nerfs or buffs that screwed up the game, things they will not admit to being wrong on.

  1. removal of the standings watchlist to protect super pilots, it was used by all mercs, some HS wardecrs, and more importantly anyone in HS that was under wardec or fearful of constant ganks.
  2. the “Rorqual era” incentivezed rorq use, drawing a lot of HS into NS to multibox mining wrecking the HS industry from lack of manpower…until the HS guys could spin up their own multibox ability to replace these losses.
  3. increasing mining ship EHP and defenses, prompting ppl used to kill a retty or covetor with 1 cat to now bring at times up to 4 at minimum to ensure killing the target.
  4. ^^^^ during all this as HS corps and ALliances bled manpower to NS recruitment, Omega and Friends MEdia Labs made a play to attempt ownership of all HS PoCo’s.
  5. Then CCP in its infinte wisdom said 90% of all wardecs were caused by the same 5 corps and decided a corp could be wardec’d if owned a structure, and declare wardecs it used an upwell. GUESS WHAT @CCP_Okami , its the same 5 corps mostly under the guise of BlackFlag and Absolute Order/Wrecking Machine doing 90% of the wardecs today.
  6. Then CCP removed isogen from HS during scarcity…i forget, in 2020? CCP tried to add a new border ore, they stopped npc miners from depleting rocks, they gave NS back passive moon mining, and the ability to choose what type of minerals they wanted in their anoms…in the first 8 months of scarcity…i watched HS corp and alliances that did indy…fold, quit the game…and never come back as of yet.
  7. Battleships went from 40 man hrs of mining and mission running to 76 man hours of mining, mission running, and reactions…per ship during scarcity.

These 7 things in my honest opinion are the root causes, cause without knowledge of the game…it is not easy at all to get ISK to plex your acct(s). and that is a fact. Im not going to share my knowledge publicly…but i can produce 12 Billion ISK daily just running Lv4 missions…with a single character.

Sometimes i mine, some times i do mission blitzing, other times im the ganker hitting someone not for profit but to make a point…i run anyway from 8 to 50 accts depending on my mood on any given month…and i plex them all these days…because i know how not just because i can.

@CCP_Okami you guys really need to look at High Sec for real instead of messing with any other type of space in the near future.

Yeah, you are.

I’ve been playing Eve since 2005, and multiboxers were common then. I started multiboxing myself in 2006 because mining was done into jet cans at the time, and you needed a hauler if you didn’t want to lose your ore. The only thing that has ever caused multiboxing in Eve is the fact that CCP allows it. Not one single thing you mentioned has impacted multiboxing.

PLEX, and before that Eve Time Codes, are a fraud prevention tool at their core. The ability to buy an in-game item for cash and trade that item for currency reduces the demand for isk retailers. Allowing you to trade ISK for game time is merely the side effect of the mechanic by which CCP chooses to try and reduce fraud.

multiboxing in the context of the OP is not 1-4 accts…
i am pretty sure of that.

also in 2022 i believe…when a dev got up on stage and declared that over half the playerbase at that time..had started in the last 3 yrs…

The only ppl that were boxin 10, 20, sometimes 50 onto grid(rattle incursion runner) were long time vets that adapted and refused to quit…the ones that mastered the game.

I know exactly why eve time codes existed, i know exactly the reason for plex…whom the fuq do you think your talking to? your explanation has nothing to do with the OP…

So try again, stay on topic…or i start flaggin your posts

op is talking about making in game isk

i am pretty sure he is talking about the ppl that complan about mutliboxers mining…not realizing there used to be huge corps and alliances in HS of players that did not multibox to do stuff.

again the OP repeated his exact reason for the root cause of multiboxing(massive)…

so @Andlaust when i say stay on topic…stay on topic in case you didnt understand my last reply to you
