Archavoinet Archive: After Extensive Contract Bidding UPA Appoints New Security Franchise, Declares System of Interest
Over the past month, the Unified Principality of Archavoinet has held its tendering process for bids for a new Security Franchise, after confirming it would not be renewing its contract with Geoffon Security Consortium. The bids were some of the most intense seen for the franchise to date, having surpassed even Geoffon’s original bid into the Security Franchise 15 years ago for its first contract.The tendering process was officially closed earlier this morning, and the UPA has declared that the franchise will be jointly awarded to Windstalker Security Corp and Purosupekuta Resourcing Auxiliary-Navy, capsuleer run firms both with ties to the United Neopian Federation, an independent faction outside of the Gallente Federation.
The details of the joint franchise and how it will operate are currently sparse, however the changeover coincides with the announcement of the neighbouring unincorporated system of Eugales being declared a System of Interest to the UPA, with documents put forward to the Pegeler District Court to have the claim legally notarized, and registered.
