SOULLANS, IYEN-OURSTA VII, SINQ LAISON
Symphonic metal band Empty Chair has debuted their second single, “Rise of the Achurans” to a crowd of expat Achurans at the Amarrian Orthodox Church, Sedevacantist’s latest branch in the border system of Iyen-Oursta. The new single encourages Achurans to rise up against the despoilation of their homeworld by the Caldari, particularly the destruction of cherry trees:
Factories rise
Where blossoms fell
…
Cherry trees
Their roots now torn
The song promises that each tree felled will be repaid:
Caldari steel
Your reign will break
For every tree
Revenge we take
The Sedevacantist Church had advertised its upcoming concert and church plant opening among the “Little Saisio” district of the Iyen-Oursta VII city of Soullans, where the church now operates out of a modest storefront. Many in the crowd, which spilled out of the church and into the adjoining alley, declared “Rise of the Achurans” their favorite song of Empty Chair’s set. Spokesperson Viktor Järainen for Soullan’s Caldari community was unaware of the concert but expressed hope that the arrival of the Sedevacantist Church would not impact communal harmony.
