Joint Acquisition Talks Conclude in Osmeden
Earlier this morning, aboard the Osmeden VII - Moon 18 - Federation Navy Assembly Plant, talks concluded between representatives of Wolf Brothers INC and Purosupekuta Resourcing Auxiliary-Navy, and DysTek Armories and Fricourt Aerospace Dynamics regarding joint acquisition of both DysTek and Fricourt by the two capsuleer based corporations.DysTek Armories is a small armaments manufacturer, with stake in both the manufacturing of small arms and light vehicle mounted weaponry, and Fricourt Aerospace Dynamics is a manufacturer of fightercraft, dropships, and shuttles. Both had gained much of their business by catering to Clone Soldier markets and applications for their products, and with the end of the so called ‘Independent Warclone’ in early YC118, both companies have struggled to maintain solvency by providing their goods and services to various non-warclone private security firms across the Placid region.
Details remain sparse about the final valuations agreed upon, but some analysts suggest that it could be well into the tens of millions of ISK, well above the listed market valuation for the total shares for both companies. What is currently known however, is that the CEOs of both DysTek Armories and Fricourt Aerospace Dynamics, Maltus Jorien, and Anine Fricourt respectively, are expected to retain their positions at the heads of their companies.
Immediately following the conclusion of talks, rumors began to circulate about DysTek and Fricourt both being assigned to work on specialty projects by the new owners, but this remains unconfirmed.
