Taayusaka Eskeitan “Asset Repossession & Salvaging” operations continue to unfold across Athounon VI as reports indicate that the bulk of the corporate taskforce has landed through occupied spaceports. Major urban centers remain under tight Federal control, though damage has been noted in sectors with lesser coverage from ballistic interception networks and shielding, the result of sporadic bombing and shelling by corporate raiders.
Federal control is a lot less secure in various small peripheral towns and villages not protected by dedicated garrisons, where only limited planetary militia forces are present. Conflict monitors report that a number of those settlements have become overrun by Taayusaka Corpsec forces, who seem to be sweeping for ‘Unauthorized Triglavian Artifacts’ alongside the recovery of leftover equipment. Despite these stated objectives, residents of occupied areas report “widespread and indiscriminate looting” by the invaders.
