Can we possibly have a requirement that CSM candidates not use portrait-orientation when recording videos that will then be posted with a landscape (ie: widescreen) orientation?
Câmon, Dunk, thatâs a trick question. Faxes canât receive remote reps when entosising (as with any other capital), and have been used as entosis ships since at least the Casino War, when Pandemic Legion used them as their primary heavy entosisers in Tribute after the M-O betrayal.
If you fail to get the CSM to be disbanded would you support the idea of having the CSM spots set out for different space like:
3 places for high
3 for null
2 for low
2 for wormholes
or is your statement that they should be non space exclusive your set stand on that?
I am not informed on that. Ill do some reading and get back to you. In the meantime, address this to existing seated CSM.
I have a proposal which I developed over years fighting on forum, and have issued before, and has since been copied by others. I will retype it and repost it as time allows closer to the nomination period.
I think this is an issue. Imo, there should be no ânon-combatantsâ in faction warfare systems, as it leads to surplus of LP, which are the payoff for actual combatants there.
Im a huge Minnie fan, and Munnin sucked for years⌠I dont think Munnin are OP. Depends on the engagement, but Munnin is one of the Minnie ships that still has a schitzophrenic junction between speed/sig/shield/armor, which imo is a good thing.
The precept of sector specific CSM seats is an option.
But the problem with this, is how to show candidates actually operate there, let alone are specifically representing that sector.
Many players in EVE have interests and/or alts throughout many sectors, and those are not reported in CSM nomination.
See what I mean?
Imo, the better way is a 1 max cap on a CSM from any Corp/Alliance. This forces even âaffiliatedâ CSM to run their CSM business on a non-affiliated character, and makes way for more places to be taken on the CSM by non-voting bloc endorsed candidates.
Sounds like a lot of projection and jealousy, really. âYou guys do this, you must get something out of it beyond just the satisfaction of doing something you think is worthwhile! GIMME!â
Oh. My. God. You went there. You really went there. Hang on, I have a quote from the old forums that sums that one up.
Itâs easy to speak for the silent majority. They rarely object to what you put into their mouths.
What happens if you donât get elected onto the CSM? Will you accept that your position is not a majority position, or will you claim some vast conspiracy cheated you out of it?
The current CSM system panders to voting blocs politically, for their interests/representation, not to the games majority playerbase and the best for EVE.
The silent majority do not vote, because they do not trust or believe in representation for them.
I will work to change that, by changing CSM, and if necessary, disbanding it.
