Running for CSM next year:

A few more questions:

  • With recent changes in Entosis mechanics to allow remote rep, Force Aux have been used as Entosis ships. Good or bad for sov warfare?
  • War decs are an ongoing issue of complaint in high sec space. What solution do you favor to redesign the war dec system?
  • Faction warfare LP farming by non-combatants. Do you feel this is a problem that needs to be addressed?
  • Muninns. Over-powered or severely over-powered?

I support all sectors in their valid concerns, as long as they dont upset balance to others.

I am not a sector specific candidate, nor do I think any CSM should be, nor that any sector should be represented by any one CSM exclusively.

Can we possibly have a requirement that CSM candidates not use portrait-orientation when recording videos that will then be posted with a landscape (ie: widescreen) orientation?

C’mon, Dunk, that’s a trick question. Faxes can’t receive remote reps when entosising (as with any other capital), and have been used as entosis ships since at least the Casino War, when Pandemic Legion used them as their primary heavy entosisers in Tribute after the M-O betrayal.

Please stop spoiling my fun…
This is what CSM candidates need to be able to answer.

If you fail to get the CSM to be disbanded would you support the idea of having the CSM spots set out for different space like:
3 places for high
3 for null
2 for low
2 for wormholes
or is your statement that they should be non space exclusive your set stand on that?

  1. I am not informed on that. Ill do some reading and get back to you. In the meantime, address this to existing seated CSM.

  2. I have a proposal which I developed over years fighting on forum, and have issued before, and has since been copied by others. I will retype it and repost it as time allows closer to the nomination period.

  3. I think this is an issue. Imo, there should be no “non-combatants” in faction warfare systems, as it leads to surplus of LP, which are the payoff for actual combatants there.

  4. Im a huge Minnie fan, and Munnin sucked for years… I dont think Munnin are OP. Depends on the engagement, but Munnin is one of the Minnie ships that still has a schitzophrenic junction between speed/sig/shield/armor, which imo is a good thing.

Fair point, muh bad.

Also he managed to get press as a GOP politician running for CSM:

https://www.gamesindustry.biz/amp/2018-05-14-republican-politician-and-lobbyist-runs-for-election-in-eve-online

The precept of sector specific CSM seats is an option.

But the problem with this, is how to show candidates actually operate there, let alone are specifically representing that sector.

Many players in EVE have interests and/or alts throughout many sectors, and those are not reported in CSM nomination.

See what I mean?

Imo, the better way is a 1 max cap on a CSM from any Corp/Alliance. This forces even “affiliated” CSM to run their CSM business on a non-affiliated character, and makes way for more places to be taken on the CSM by non-voting bloc endorsed candidates.

How nice of them to have built it before he even agreed to run, pre-ready, just for him, by them.

Thats not suspicious at all

“Hey, man! We heard you arent going to run, but WE made you this site, so if you run, you can run on OUR site :D”

Yeah, not suspicious at all, especially to a career politician that paid cash for advertising for his CSM nomination.

This is exactly the stuff my supporters do not accept in the CSM program.

Yes, we are suspicious of every CSM member, and the CSM system overall.

And for good reasons.

Did you only now understand that?

Are you that out of touch with the silent majority of EVE that has had it with this?

Sounds like a lot of projection and jealousy, really. “You guys do this, you must get something out of it beyond just the satisfaction of doing something you think is worthwhile! GIMME!”

Oh. My. God. You went there. You really went there. Hang on, I have a quote from the old forums that sums that one up.

It’s easy to speak for the silent majority. They rarely object to what you put into their mouths.

We are the majority.
You will see.

You and your other personalities, yes we’ve noticed

What happens if you don’t get elected onto the CSM? Will you accept that your position is not a majority position, or will you claim some vast conspiracy cheated you out of it?

Yes, Im going there.

The current CSM system panders to voting blocs politically, for their interests/representation, not to the games majority playerbase and the best for EVE.

The silent majority do not vote, because they do not trust or believe in representation for them.

I will work to change that, by changing CSM, and if necessary, disbanding it.

We all know there has never been any form of proof of that :joy:

Anyone in the wardec discord can confirm

Ftfy, the people in your head don’t count…

This is predicated on the notion CSM is representative of EVEs playerbase.

It is not.

It is based only on the VOTING playerbase.

I will provide a candidacy to vote AGAINST the CSM as it is, via myself representing them to change and if necessary disband the CSM program.
