Running for CSM next year:

It is not the same.

You are not grasping that a 1max CSM per Corp/Alliance adds thresholds against corruption/political influence.

How would you change the CSM program?

but… but there’s only 1 goon on the CSM, the other 6 are no longer goons, look they’re in different alliances, it doesn’t matter that those alliances may be blue to each other, or that all the CSM members in them share communications networks, resources and goals.

It does absolutely ■■■■ all

Instead of having the goon tag they’ll only have some other alliance name :joy:
They’ll still be goons either way

The influence is the same even if they have different tags.

We’re not talking about how I would change it. Asking me this is not going to make my point less valid.

How many CSM members of the current seatings do you think are under GSF payroll/influence?

What does that matter as long as they are working to make Eve better for us all? What does the name of the corporation matter?

It is forced to pass one additional threshold.

I asked you a question.

What I think is irrelevant, I’m not the one attempting to run a CSM campaign; besides I don’t actually care as long as they stop CCP doing anything too stupid and push player concerns at them for review.

A substantial proportion of players do not think they are working towards that end, and are just representing their overlords agendas.

A question designed to cast doubt upon my opinions when my response undoubtedly fails to satisfy you. I decline. Anyway, this is your thread and your ideas. Please tell us idiots how your plan removes influence.

Citation needed.

Who are these players, how do you know that they’re dissatisfied and how do you know that your platform is one that they’ll support?

I did no such thing.
Your opinions are yours.

I asked you, what you would change in the CSM program.

We will see in the elections.

Nothing at this time. I’ve paid very little attention to it over the years.

It is relevant as to the extent of creeping political influence on CSM of ingame entities.

Fine.
Since you have paid very little attention to it, that does indeed cast a shadow on your allegation the change I propose wont result in any change.

That’s not an answer.

You’re claiming to represent a substantial proportion of players yet can provide no evidence of it, nor is there evidence that this substantial proportion of players would support you in the first place

I suspect that you’re mistaking players that don’t speak up as being supportive of your platform, if this is the case how do you deduce support from silence?

Damn, I’m good. Did I or did I not see this coming? You can’t defend your position, so you put your opponent on the defensive. The only problem is that you’re still wrong and I don’t need to have any ideas of how to fix something that ain’t broke.

They are silent because they are fed up with being trolled and misrepresented.

They do not believe in the CSM system as it stands, anymore, to represent them.

I will give them a CSM platform to vote for, to have a voice to that end.

I am not.
And the voters will decide that, not you.
