well, wait.

T2 fits are much harder than T1 fits for drones, you have like 3% chance per drone. Maybe 5 with max skill ? 5% per dorne means 22% par cycle for a full flight, ie 4-5 cycles to salvage it.

also I have no idea where you want to salvage occasional T2. I mean, in anoms you want to salvage everything because it just nets more money in a VNI to kill+ salvage (with max skills in VNI and submax skills in salvage)than just kill , per total time. - or nothing once you have carrier because it’s a waste of time. In HS you have so little T2 that i’s not worth considering, and you have better modules to put than a salvager. I can only think of ded sites that can be interesting (more commanders). yet the money is definitely not in the salvage.

But if you want to salvage one wreck here and there … yes, the salvager is here for this.
Just because you can do it with drones too, does not mean the drones are supposed to be used as normal salvager.

This would actually be expanding the game so they wont do it. But dont worry they will release a new skin soon or rebalance the rifter again.

Technically speaking, there’s already a T2 Noctis, it just needs to be revamped for salvage capabilities like you mentioned. The Porpoise is the Noctis. They either need to revamp it to a T2 Noctis, or remodel it xD I doubt they’d do bubble immunity, but a salvage bay and increased salvage yield would be pretty awesome, along with covert ops cloak.
