If you people don’t stop antagonizing me with your baseless accusations, I will track you down, find out where you live, go to your system, and ask for your consent in order to engage you in PvP.
This is the final time you’re getting warned.

The fact that you are a very active forum member shows me that this is an empty threat. I only go here when I cannot physically play EVE, which is most of the time.
Nujenif Talvanen added to consensually-duel-on-sight list.
That’s healthy of you. Identifying games you don’t like, not playing them, and instead playing the ones you do like.
You had to learn the hard way: null space is governed by feudal kingdoms who operate on the „if you haven’t negotiated to be blue with us, we will hunt you in our territory“ principle. You trespassed, you didn’t negotiate beforehand, so they shot you. That’s how they keep their space.
I’ve been on the flip side. Killed a pod Autopiloting through pockets in nullsec Providence. I had no idea if the was a scout for a massive fleet, or if he came through a wormhole, or what. This lone pilot in a capsule represented uncertainty to the coalition. Was he an omen of bad thing to come? Was he collaborating with our enemies? Time for questions later, time for action was nigh. So I shot and killed the pod.
You know what I got? A tirade of very Russian insults. Something wrong with my head. I am a rubber product. Et cetera. Turns out later that week, Darkside had bookmarks in systems for their invasive fleets. Coincidence? I can’t be sure, but the paranoid survive.
No one knows how good and moral and white-knight your intentions are, except you. It sounds like you can only handle games where it’s assumed everyone is kumbayah and by default assumes good intent with one another, so I am happy you’re looking at playing those games instead. Eve is not that game.
It doesn’t matter if it “was a scout for a massive fleet” or not, because if you needed consent in order to shoot him, then likewise the “massive fleet” would’ve needed consent in order to shoot you, so letting him continue on peacefully wouldn’t present an existential threat to you.
By acting the way you do, you perpetuate a legacy of systemic oppression against progressive players who are entitled to experience the EVE sandbox according to their own preferences. This is fundamentally criminal on your behalf, as it violates many human rights regulations across many countries.
Not really, I cannot understand why some people are bent on this BS view of progress, seeing “modern gamers” as soft gamers needing hand-holding and and a soft/safe environment they can play in…
Nor do I understand the people advocating to change the current game they play in just to suit their self-obsessed, unfounded and entirely subjective perspective of the game they play …
Take any popular emergent hardcore titles like Rust, DayZ, PUBG, Ark, Conan Exiles, etc, they are still extremely popular with “modern” kids and are all titles where you are meant to survive in a harsh Everyone vs Everyone environment.
The claim that EVE needs to “progress” to a softer version to be better “adapted” to modern gamers as a whole, is so utterly vague and just a pure BULLSH*T argument.
You can sell any type game you want, as long as you sell it to the right audience, and I’ve already laid down that. There is still plenty of an audience out there for Eve-like games, providing Eve to remain as it currently is and doesn’t just bend the knee because a bunch of soft-advocating cretins said so …
Those who prefer softer games with “zero-consequence” gameplay can buzz-off and go play Elite, or X4, or any other soft titles out there, there’s plenty for them around to choose …
Is it just me or the number of anti-ganking threads each week is increasing?
They’ve been trying harder than I can recall lately, yes …
I just hope CCP knows what’s good and stands its ground.
All the ag threads are made by one person on a bunch of 0zkill alts.
What you call “self-obsessed, unfounded and entirely subjective” the majority of the population would call “progressive” and “enlightened.” What you call being “soft” others would call “compassionate” and “empathetic.” Your viewpoints are those of a corrupted minority.
Yeah, and the grand majority of the servers in those games are PvE servers where the admins will instantly boot you if you PK someone outside of a designated zone/time, which tells you everything you need to know about the type of games that modern, enlightened gamers want.
No, it’s not a “whatever” argument; it’s just you trying to desperately justify archaic, irrelevant viewpoints that the rest of society has rejected as the rantings and ramblings of socially-irrelevant undesirables.
You can either HTFU and adapt, or be bred out of the gene pool by the rest of humanity that rejects your unacceptable flaws. Your call, really.
Or we can simply take control of this title, and bring it in line with modern gaming industry standards, with or without your input.
You’ve had your chance with EVE Online, and obviously blew it judging by how the player count is collapsing, and the overall public opinion and outlook of the game is considerably negative. Time to move over, and let progressives who actually understand contemporary social issues guide the game into a new, prosperous age. There’s no place for you here, nor anywhere. Go suck a thumb; the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.
We are doomed.
You’re such a bad troll Destiny …
We no longer use the t-word.
100’000 isk bounty on Verlyn.
I could also be Santa Clause.
I was dead wrong about this game.
A boot that squishes an ant isn’t called “combat”.
He’s not crying, moron. I’m the one who is crying.
So I own no part of space at all. Might as well not play.
Maybe they should call it Gratuitous Slaughter
I wouldn’t have downloaded it then.
I would not call Hulk Hogan squashing a 12-year-old “sport”.
Now I do. That’s why I’m biomassing in a few minutes.
Yep. I do try games and leave them when I find out they’re only cash cows.
Story of my life.
If everyone has bad intentions towards each other in EVE then it’s definitely not a game I want to play.
One positive at least.
Nah, don’t give up yet.
We’re slowly but surely forcing these neanderthals out of the community. All the griefers here talk a very big game, but most of them don’t even play anymore because they simply can’t do the things they could do before. EVE is already vastly different from the way it was before, and soon it will be fixed completely and much more in line with the socially-acceptable norms that other games follow. CCP is starting to understand their outdated game’s flaws for real, and have taken big steps to patch out griefing and forced PvP mechanics.
I have played since 2003, this not my main, as criticizing the pvp in eve paint you a huge target for gankers
Played since 2003 and scared of gankers? What a noob.
Maybe they should call it Gratuitous Slaughter
Maybe they should call it Everyone versus Everyone --Wait… that’s what “EVE” means
Attack the argument, not the person.
Except the person will flip each argument for his convenience, endlessly.
There’s actually no point.
In all likelihood, you don’t even mean what you say and just wasting time on the internets.
