I don’t think that Eve is actually bad, it just could be better and definitly felt better for me some years ago.
But if I had to pick one thing, the one Ima mentions would be it.
There is no one near 75000 character alliance, but as some have as many as 250 accounts and each account has 3 character slots I guesstimate the largest clan has about 3000~5000 humans in it. Which is a lot of humans. :
Helicopter parenting, social media, society, increasing illiteracy, CCP dumbing the game down to the lowest common denominator, entitlement mindset, …
The list goes on and on…
Depends on how many skill injectors were purchased from Jita before they undocked.
Goons have approx 6052 subscribers to the youtube channel, and Mittens did say they were a lot of alts in GSF.
Lack of personal touch for players, lots of spreadsheet gaming.
Pandemic Legion.
Nullsec cap proliferation, powercreep, bots.
Yup.

Eve is only limited by its code. They should have been rewriting this game in C++ years ago.
Eve isn’t a bad game. Never has been.
15 years later, it’s not the same forces keeping me to stick around.
(Not that I expected it to be, I’m honestly surprised it has lasted this long)
/c
Space submarines …
Yeah. Submarines in space even. Actually I’ve NO IDEA what she’s talking about lol
Refusal of CCP to rewrite eve’s code in with newer engines that could support more expansions that players always ask for, also eve’s dying.
Oddly, this is what I’ve been saying through anonymous characters in the forums for the past 10 years lol
I always got resistance from certain hard core players for reasons I could never figure out. I mean, why would a player care more about present game play than the long term survival of the game?
This has been happening literally forever and people still continue to play eve. Also who cares if a wallet warrior leaves the game? They never stay in anyone game for long anyways.
There is no such thing as premium content. Moreover experiences and rewards scale. Fundamentally there is simply no “fun” differential between doing a l2 mission and a l4 mission or say getting involved in frig pvp vs hot dropping in blops. In fact some people actually prefer small scale pvp with t1 ships to fleet and capital combat. It’s just a question of finding your niche.
The NPE, because it doesn’t encourage communication with other players enough, leaving us with large amounts of players who silently grind until they get bored and quit.
War decks
I have seen dozen of players leave because of this newbie greifing mechanic
It should be totally removed until CCP find a new way to implement it
Yup, I’ve also seen older more experienced players leave due to that as well.
Eve Online is downright awful, and I love it
