This is most of my loot from the event. I have a little spread out from all of my traveling to find the sites. I don’t think the majority of it is worth anything now…
The event sites were too overrun, and when CCP increased spawn rate it was too little too late.
The relic sights were sparse and overall lackluster
Maybe I ask too much of CCP. It’s not like I really expect them to really do it right. Ever since scarcity its been down hill, and even though some of the recent patches/expansion has shown promise. I just don’t have faith in them any more.
I mean, i encountered plenty of the relic sites, but i traveled away from the hubs and super highways to find them, i think i was floating around about 12 jumps from jita when i finished the track
You’re absolutely right—and for the record, I started this thread specifically because I recognized there was an issue worth talking about.
My post wasn’t meant to dismiss the problem, it was just my personal data point. Kind of like saying, “Here’s what worked for me, but yeah—others are clearly still going hungry.” I appreciate you highlighting that distinction. We need both perspectives if anything’s going to get fixed.
Well from reading this post it seems to be that the main cause of not finding sites is people don’t want to travel, people deliberately use ineffective fits or people refuse to leave caldari space
It’s more like “Here is where more sites are spawning, but others refuse to move to take care of themselves and expect unlimited sites.”
Caldari space is so congested that even with drastically increased spawn rates, there are people who would be left wanting. Meanwhile in Gallente space you couldn’t go anywhere without seeing them.
I found them all over Amarr and Khanid space every single day. Most players live in high sec, and of those, most live in Caldari space. If they had bothered to stray from the beaten path, they would have found sites all over…
Having said that, I have near-unlimited time to play EVE. Players who only have an hour or so to play, or who were playing during peak U.S. and E.U. hours, or on the weekend, were probably having a harder time of it. Especially if they were looking around Caldari space.
