A way to make modifications using science/research skills to ships. Similar to abyssal items are modified. The ship+(different materials of some sort) will be used. A science slot taken up. Skill requirement based on type of ship. A random outcome of balanced possibilities …so cant be god stats. Could be taken further to any module. Doesnt have to be super over powered modifications.
