So, any guesses/bets on how well the Ansiblex changes that are dropping on Tuesday are going to go over? Null-sec has had all summer to prepare for these, but… Is BlackOut 2.0 in the cards?
Anything that makes life harder for the mega null blocs that have sat on their laurels and even instigated monstrosities like the TTT…can only be good.
Jim Cramer but for Eve Online.
What makes people think big blocks will be in any way impaired by this? Just like with Blackout, it was the big blocks that adapted the fastest and most thoroughly to the increased hardship.
Q: @Arthur_Aihaken what is BlackOut 2.0 mean exactly?
They removed local from null-sec for an event. It’s been called “blackout” due to the name and mass quit by null-sec players.
It’s been called “Blackout” because that was its actual name.
It was glorious:

I am almost sure that won’t happen again. Even if it did, this game can still operate with the +200 remaining omega players. Besides that, the dope new HUD will force players to return.

No, it won’t be Blackout 2.0. This change isn’t that big of a deal. At least not right now. Don’t know if future tweaking might change it more.
i mean im not seeing too much fussing over it from anyone in big blocs.
SOOOOOO…
What you are saying is : if the big blocs are not interested it’s a non issue? ![]()
The problems of the lesser beings are of no concern to us? ![]()
This change has literally no impact on you unless you are a) big bloc or b) ally of big bloc or c) renter with access to big bloc ansi network via ACL. If c, you can join the bloc. If b … well, that’s still to be seen.
If big blocs are not moved by a change that was designed specifically against them, then it’s either too early to judge the effect (like, it’s 4h after patch, so the cap on the ansis could not even charge to full by now) or it was a bad change. We’ll see in a week
