It would be very nice for newer players to have a better default overview.

It would also be important to show people how to adjust your overview size and the size of your chat channels etc to make it the most convenient.

if you realy want to help active players give freighters med slots to fit a MWD like the bowhead

(but the 3min timer may also help against those anoying orca bumping… we will test it)

What a joke, there’s only like 3-5 people who even setup freighter ganks nowadays. Now they either have to kill in one system or add 5-6 extra chars to keep a freighter there :rofl:

Just making the game more tedious nerf by nerf

Freighter pilots have to pay even less attention then they did before (which was almost nothing).

Why not just buff freighter HP by 2x while you’re at it

I would like to see actual consequences for bumping. damage taken by the bumping ship and damage to the ship being bumped. I mean really, if we had real space ships and we flew into each other in space, I would not be here typing this and you would not be here to read this.

Yes… considering there is 2 primary systems for it anyway, it’s not big deal. The biggest whiners are people who just want to take a single mach in multiple systems, and then hit approach and MWD.

If anything, it means gankers will need to focus on killing ships that are worthwhile, as opposed to literally killing every freighter through the gate. Just means they can’t keep ships bumped for hours on end which is what has happened in the past.

Lol ok. You realise each one of those guys runs 20-30 accounts already. I know your small brain can’t comprehend it, but there is vast amounts of effort put in to ganking freighters.

Making an already niche activity that much more tedious which just makes more people not want to do it or quit.

So warp is still prevented if the vessel can’t hit the 75% warp threshold? Seems like that won’t help much for people who get their ships stuck in station geometries.

Any chance you might throw us a bone here and have the missiles re-target if their initial target is destroyed? Think more heat-seeking type behaviour, than auto-targeting, after all, if a missile still has fuel in the tank?

Risk free? FoF ticks are awful, its not like the limit ( cruise is 200km ) is going to be a distance that someone would actually try to run an anonamaly at.

The Ishtar is better money, that’s where all the VNI kids are going after all.

You’re mistaking High Security space for Low and Null. Go there and you’re open to shoot up as many freighters as you want.

CCP already gives players ships back when the loss has been due to abuse.

That was turned off for an event, which funnily enough lead to more people actually doing them. Its not going to be turned back on without people ditching the content. Besides, its easy to avoid by starting the site just before DT, just have to time it.

Newton’s Law would also cause a lot of the bumping ships to end up as hubcap sized decorations on the freighters as well.

I saw one ship bump a freighter into another freighter at a 90 degree angle, it was stuck there still like 15 minutes later. I’m glad for this change.

No, it’s clearly intentional. The dialog now says “Warp Drive Preparing” which gets replaced with the scram icon when a point lands and your warp attempt is cancelled. Otherwise, it switches to “Warp Drive Active” once you enter warp or 3 minutes elapse.

Its more for soloing c4’s c5’s in a raven with >250km cruise fof :], glad this has finally been fixed.
