You are out of your mind if you think people didn’t respond with literally the exact same issues that are being mentioned here…and CCP outright ignored most of them. The few biggest things that people said, and the reason they don’t like the new system, are that we need the ability to have a massive number of bookmarks/folders, the ability to sell bookmarks, and an interface that makes them easy to locate and warp to. None of those have been addressed, at all.
This is another huge issue…now, AWOXers don’t even have to out themselves at all. They can add bookmarks to every Rorq on grid with them, and the neut friends can literally warp to each one, easily.

Well that’s a surprise…NOT
Typical CCP… Introduce a complete bag of c**p regardless of what people say. They have been doing it for many, many years.
I second the motion regarding the harsh limits on Folders.
I second the issue with harsh limits on the number of Folders to keep things tidy.
I’d like to see three additional options for expiration- 16 hours, 1 day and 7 days.
16 hours - the time frame for a lot of static wormholes
1 day because - the time frame for a lot of static wormholes
If I open up my statics, then I know exactly when they are going to despawn provided it is a boring day.
7 day expiry because there are some sites in a home wormhole that might not get run right away, and a seven day option would be nice.
I second this idea it would be usefull for all explores not just wormholers
its like they took all of the good working (game play perspective) parts of the old system ant threw them out replacing them with the main thing that was missing previously creating more problems than they solved specifically copying of bookmarks and secure sharing of individual bookmarks. the need to create new access lists and shared folders for each bookmark that you share generates more clutter than the old system, possibly if they readded bookmark items with mandatory expiry would be a good solution but the current workarounds with the new system mean even more information that the servers have to track
Now, in order to find your bookmark, you need to open 3 windows, you’re crazy, return at least personal bookmarks to the quick access panel as before.
The folder inside the “Personal Folders” folder with my name on it, pointless? My OCD is triggered, its useless and redundant and tedious and verbose, and one extra thing to wag my cursor at in space. (currently frustrated by the lack of control I have over it) I either want to delete all my bookmarks just so I don’t have my name folder in their (not expecting that to work) or just ignore all my bookmarks until this is fixed.
Alright, the change brought some great things, some bad (the restrictions on 5 Private Online Main Folders and 3 Online Shared Folders) and some just weird stuff.
The weird stuff:
Tip: CONSISTENCY IS KEY.
Private Online Main Folders under Locations, right-click in space:
How are they sorted? It’s not by creation date, it’s not directly alphabetical, or by size, but yet it’s still always the same order. Renaming the Main folder names (using numbers for example) doesn’t help either. They need to be sorted alphabetically, so we can control in what order the Main folders appear in, always the same order. Just as the Subfolders, they’re sorted alphabetically.
More weirdness on Locations right-click in space:
Sometimes the Subfolder structure is intact, typically when there’s a lot of Subfolders and/or Bookmarks. However, when you’re in a system with fewer Bookmarks, the content of SOME (not all) of the Subfolders are moved “to the left”, and appear directly under “Locations”. This might seem like a good idea on paper, but is confusing as hell. If Bookmarks are in Subfolders, they need to always appear in those Subfolders when using “Locations” in space. And everything sorted alphabetically of course. Don’t move stuff around for us, and definitely not randomly.
The limitation of 3 Online Shared Folders really need to be increased. If you have more than one character/account, you probably want 1 or 2 just for yourself, to sync important bookmarks. Then you have 1 Shared Corp bookmarks… and that’s the limit. If you want to create a Shared Folder for a fleet, friends, or to sell, you have to offline stuff. Glorious micromanagement…
The limit of only 5 Online Private folders really isn’t that great either, but can be managed with a good structure and the use of Subfolders. At least when the the Main Folders are sorted correctly (as per above).

Ah, how life was simple when all the bookmarks in the system appeared just after right clicking in space.
All those moments, lost like tears in rain…
Hello DEV Team o/
Sorry if this point was already answered, but i don’t find how to manage my Personal Locations with this new system.
I have around 12.500 Bookmarks, mostly in Folders of 200-750 bookmarks.
It was lookin like that :
PERSONAL >
◙ Folder-1 >
◙ Folder-2>
◙ Folder-3>
Root Bookmark1
RootBookmark2
Now with this new system, my Folders became SubFolders, like this :
PERSONAL >
[JFKEN IMPERIA] >
◙ SubFolder-1 >
◙ SubFolder-2>
◙ SubFolder-3>
Root Bookmark1
RootBookmark2
So i got the 3.000 locations max in folder error message…
How can i delete this [My Toon Name] folder that i don’t need to avoid this error message and my Bookmark’s folder come back to be Folders and not SubFolders ?

***edit : ***
i think I partially answered myself > I need to create other “RootFolder”, then cut-pasta my bookmarks inside… then deleting this useless [My Toon Name] folder… Let’s try that…
Please return the drag and drop bookmarkers to the warehouse !
Why are you doing this to the players !?
I would be happy to give up 3 of the 5 folders in personal locations to have a single bookmark in the root of the right-click in space menu
I just noticed: Several toons, with the exact same folder structure, and the exact same bookmarks, now have these bookmarks and folders sorted differently in Locations, when right-clicking in space.
CCP: THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE!
we can’t share personnal folder anymore ?
EDIT: Copy/paste the bookmark into a shareable bookmark folder, not the folder directly (could be more ergonomic)
and please just add a way to share our 5000+bookmark in one time, maybe make them automaticly fill 10Sub folder, it’s cancerous AF actually
Warping to a BM quickly is impossible now. Having to move through 2 sub-folders is a real pain and delays warping to an unacceptable degree.
There is absolutely no benefit in having a meaningless folder with your name on it. The BM’s are in your personal folder, so they obviously relate to you !!!
According to the DEV Blog:
“This change has been done for consistency with the other menu options (Stargates, Stations etc), and to keep the menu clean and clear. This is indeed a significant change to the flow of this menu if you use it regularly for bookmarks, and may take some adjustment, but the hope is that it should be easier to navigate in the long-term”.
This idea is a disgrace. It will never be easier to navigate, in the long or short term. Not EVER. Whichever bright spark came up with this idea, clearly has never played the game in any meaningful way. I wonder if he / she has ever undocked ?
Put personal BM’s back into the immediate right click menu, and end this farce once and for all.
Sorry if this has already been answered, I have looked… Is it possible to include one Access List within another ? or do all the individual members (of the ‘included’ list) have to be entered individually in both lists ?
