Hi ccp,
would it be an idea to allow players to buy flight-use licences for certain ships as alpha players, including T2 but with a limit ‘except T3 and Capitals’?

I believe that’s already the idea behind the various Expert Systems CCP has made available. However I don’t think they’ve pushed the concept so far as to constitute a method for Alpha’s to consistently purchase licenses to fly certain ships.
I would also guess that CCP would rather see Alpha players buying Omega time rather then repeat purchases of limited-use flight license/Expert System.

The types of T2 ships that you would want to fly are useless without the Omega-only modules that they are intended for…

Universal licencse is called ‘Omega’. What else is needed?

$3 USD per period of time, such that it adds up to flying that ship for a month is $30 USD.

This is already universally implemented. It is called a weekend fleet pack. 3 days all Omega ships for 3.75€.

I would be interested in CCP experimenting with the expert system program. It’s easy enough for them to make it limited to test phases as well.
