SICO is no longer a target for me, ICANP still is

Good one Merin.

Wait, what?

■■■■.

In some screwed up universe, somehow all this implies that Naari/Sabus is really Hilmar.

Actually, that wouldn’t be surprising at all.

Why yes it is.

Maybe you could take your own advice,

Still disgusted…

Just a little note here. Rules regarding Impersonation have been tightened over the years. What one may see as satire the other may not. I am not saying impersonation happened here, or that it didn’t. Only that is is dangerous water one treads upon.

No actions have been taken on this topic.

Of course I would like to point out that I never said I was Sabus, and in fact many times explicitly said that I was not.

That’s nice. If you can’t tolerate a little mockery of someone then how exactly are you going to survive in a ruthless dystopian PvP game like EVE?

Except you mocked everyone.

I will shoot anyone because I can. That is the game.
But I don’t go out of my way to intentionally hurt people.
Even the ones I don’t like.

I have worked alot with children. And at the end of the day, even the ‘bad ones’ are still just kids.

EVE is a game for adults, and thin-skinned complainers are not going to survive in this game.

Not sure what’s going on in ICANP, but Sabus Narian has resigned as CEO.

Well, let me be perfectly clear about this. I don’t care who the new ICANP CEO is or pretends to be. He could very well be a Sabus alt for all I know.

ICANP still is Sabus corp and has to die. I’m not going to let that cancer corp thrive again. I’ll keep targeting it and any alliance it joins for the rest of my EvE life…

This is something of an ongoing debate among us exiles, whether it’s a Sabus alt or not. No strong conclusion either way, so far as I know.

Try not to hurt the line members too much, they’re largely innocent! They’ve been forced out of their HDQ and have lost in excess of 200 active members this week including most of the existing officer core.

Stop wondering whether he’s Sabus or not, or what to do about it. Just leave that cancer corp right now and be done with it. Or deal with the consequences of remaining there…

Completely separate of what @Knowledgeminer said I also highly recommend leaving that corp because based on my personal experience with their corp members that corp teaches absolutely nothing to their members, nothing of survival against NPCs and other players and nothing of the basics of the game in general, not even the most elementary stuff based on my experience, so you are better off in a real newbie friendly corp where they at least bother to teach you the basics… at the very least. I personally recommend joining a decent corp instead.

(Note in case someone tries to twist my message: my own corp despite being open is not about teaching people so is not a suitable corp for people needing help learning the game so no this is not a hidden recruiting post. :stuck_out_tongue: )

The best advice for line members is to join another corp in SICO instead. Let that particular corp die and take this terrible chapter with it.

James 315 said that those who harbor the bot aspirants are themselves guilty of bot aspirancy. If they choose to act as his human shield, then they will face the consequences.

Oh don’t misunderstand me, I am one of the 200! I’m merely saying a lot of the line members are so new (to Eve) they have no chance of knowing what’s going on to even know to leave! It’s not like internal channels are sharing information lol. Take pity on the children, it’s always them which suffer!

@Nascent3ch0 Find someone you know still in Corp. Get them to send a Corp mail to apply to other corps. Start a refugee Corp yourself even to transition them somewhere else.
That’s how you care for them. Not by stopping shooting.

Oh, but they do have a chance to know, because I’m now sending a mail to every player joining ICANP that they made a mistake, referring them to these threads to see why, and telling them that, if they remain in ICANP regardless, we’ll assume they support Sabus one way or another and will act accordingly…

Well if you’re ALSO doing that then you’ve fulfilled your civic duty to the new players.

My name is Hinzee. I’m not a Sabus alt. I joined ICANP very early in its existence and always believed in the corp and believed in Sabus Narian. I quickly rose to director very early in my EVE career (ICANP was my first and only main corp I’ve been in). I found Incursions after being an Orca miner for a couple months. I made big ISK, saw EVE, and learned everything while with ICANP.

I’ve FC’d for both Warp To Me and Dittanian fleets, and I’m extremely well known within the Incursion community. I’m also the head of Incompetent Incursions (ICANP Incursion Branch).

Throughout my relatively short time in EVE I believed in and stuck with Sabus Narian. I am an ICANP success story after all. Toward the end of Sabus’ reign he began acting erratic, started a religion that I had the unfortunate pleasure of trying to defend in SICO director chats. Every day there was something new I had to defend. Eventually Sabus decided to pick a fight with SICO after our kick from the coalition. This was when enough was enough. ICANP and its members (who are mostly newbies) were dealing with the brunt of Sabus Narian’s self-destructive and harmful actions. Something had to be done. So I had to make a decision. It was either Sabus or ICANP. I chose to attempt saving the corp that I’ve believed in and thrived in for my entire EVE lifetime. I (and later the rest of the director team) pressured Sabus to step down and resign as CEO, name a new CEO, and be unaffiliated with the corp.
Sabus initially ranted and acted in his usual erratic way, still trying to win a lost battle in his head with SICO all while bleeding ICANP dry. But eventually after enough pressure he finally agreed and named me as the new CEO.
My first act as CEO was to end the battle against SICO and move the corp to Usi. As this was happening I started rebuilding leadership. Of all the old guard director team. The only ones left were myself, Karulean (who is on vacation), and Reapher SavG (who hasn’t been seen in EVE Online for months but has recently appeared on discord and stated he will be returning). All 3 of whom have disavowed Sabus Narian and his views. There are also no corp officers left who would stand with Sabus if he were to come back. In short, Sabus in the beginning was great. He built ICANP. However, that doesn’t excuse his erratic and destructive actions toward the end of his reign.

ICANP has new leadership and is rebuilding. We ask that you take a new look at us. But we will not bow to aggression and are ready to face threats that come our way. But if you’re coming for us because of Sabus Narian, you are only further hurting the newbies he left in his wake that you claim to defend.

Regarding @knowledgeminer

I do not personally know you, nor have I had the pleasure of dealing with you. But I have heard your name come up many times but have not paid attention as the forums are not something I usually frequent. But please take notice that the only ones you hurt are the newbies. Your actions have been noticed and that is the only validation I will allow you. Although it is unfortunate that the weakest ones are in many cases the loudest voices.

Quite simply, you are doing then a disservice by retaining them.
If you truly aren’t Sabus, folding them into another Corp not run by anyone with previous affiliations is actually the best thing to them.
Because many people are not going to believe you aren’t Sabus just putting on an act.

Also “think of the poor newbies, it’s all your fault they quit” is one of the saddest cards to ever play.
