Exactly. It’s T6, the very top tier. Requiring the finest of honed skills. Including figuring out how to assess fit viability, and figure out how to do it live without breaking the bank. Do you have those skills? If not, acquire them. You can do T5 as your backup income.
The problem is not to have the skills or the knowledge the problkem is now if you want to acquire them you have to waste billions before to start a decent run.
It’s only a waste if you learned nothing from it. Every loss is ISK spent on continuing education.
If the price tag is too high, don’t do it and stick with T5s, clearly the continuous rewards for T6 isn’t good enough for you.
As I said you does not know much about abyssal. t5 is not as easy as you said. A lot fo player does not reach it. The abyssal content is the most punishing in the entire game and the test server modificaiton made it worth. It’s always funny to heard regular pve people speaking about the abyssal like if it was a hs combat site or l4.
I have to agree with most of the replies here. I’m pretty disappointed with this. I only use Sisi for testing abyssal fits. Testing a 6 or 8 billion isk fit in a abyssal on the live server is not going to happen. At least not by me.
Welcome to EVE, loss matters here, gotta risk it for that biscuit boi
Because they are any risk at the regular pve in Eve ? You are a funny guy
Yes, the risk is your ship, people die to level 4 missions you know, nothing is without risk
If you’re not willing to risk something why should you get the reward?
Dying in level 4 mission ? really ? Nice joke but I am talking about the big boy stuff. You can warp off any time on a l4 mission. In the abyssal space you can not escape.
Not a joke, it happens, and if you want to do the big boy content you have to risk the big boy assets, not sure which part of that is confusing you
I know ive lost several ships in L4s.
It’s so annoying to speak with people who does not know how the abyssla stuff work and think it’s a easy and chilling content like the crappy l4… I suggest you to test the high tier abyssal stuff and we will talk again.
Oh i know how it works
Knowing how it works doesn’t change the fact that you’re not expected to be testing it without loss, if you want to progress up the ranks you need to be willing to risk something along the way, the issue is you guys lack the testicular fortitude to actually risk something in order to improve, so you by all means keep playing with the low end content in complete safety
Ok so do it, take a random 9B fit on abyssal tracker and test it on a t6 filament.
And what would you expect that to prove exactly, that unlike you i’m willing to risk 9 billion on something?
I don’t think this helps your argument in the way you think it does lol
Bruh, stop trolling here.
Higher tiered abyssals have rooms to kill or stop you no matter what kind of blingy fit or ship you use. Most people break even and only the elites and lucky ones with rare drops make profit from it. With that being the case, testing is highly essential.
As for taking down Sisi, that’s not a good decision for the overall shape of the game but I can understand why they would want to not give access as the new expansions carry new content. In that case, wouldn’t just letting access to old expansion work since not many abyssal changes would be implemented?
Moreover, I would say that to access Sisi, how about using Evermarks from tranq to buy time in Sisi? It could be one of Evermark’s features, finally having a use that is better than getting structure SKINS.
What I mean is that you talk a lot about the abyss and risk, but are you capable of acting accordingly? I’ve already lost several Abyss Tier 6 ships worth billions like : Vagabond | Zodiac Krumsk | Killmail | zKillboard, Capsule | Zodiac Krumsk | Killmail | zKillboard. It’s easy to give lessons to others, but when it comes to taking action, often there’s no one around. Anyway, the debate is sterile; anti-abyss advocates yearn for the situation and often talk about risk without truly understanding its meaning.
Disagreeing with you isn’t trolling, you need to learn that rather important distinction
Sure, so go test it, on TQ where you’re meant to, nobody is stopping you from doing your testing other than your unwillingness to learn how to do it on your own wallet balance
Its not about being anti-abyss, its about being against giving you free reign to test something without putting some skin in the game first, as the devs actually intended, risk vs reward doesn’t work when you’re not risking anything, and yes after nearly 2 decades of playing the game i know all too well about risk in EVE and how to learn from your mistakes and avoid losing things in the future, and spoiler warning, it didn’t involve SISI lol
Disagreeing isn’t trolling of course but you’re capacity for understanding seems extremely low if you can’t understand what Zodiac or the others said. Since I thought you understood, that would mean you might be trolling but if you aren’t trolling, then you lack the capacity to understand.
The second quote and reply also seems to also have gone over your head.
It’s not about willingness. It’s about risk vs reward as you said. High-tier Abyss is already an extremely high risk PvE and when testing doesn’t work, it’s not even high-risk but sure death gameplay, making it not even a content anymore. It’s no different than shooting Concord. The end result is death.
Now, only the experts who have used Sisi as a testing ground will know how to maneuver and not newbies or even fairly experienced PvE players.
But cool, make sure to keep saying what you’re saying without any understanding capability whatsoever, spouting the same thing again and again like a troll would.
If you’re not confident in your skills to put billions on the line to test, then there’s your answer. Don’t do T6. Build the confidence tinkering in T5s until you build the skills necessary to tackle T6. Do research. Talk to the experienced guys running T6. Plan appropriately. It’s that simple.
