CCP is a business. If the blackout was harmful they’d roll it back instead of ruining data with dailies. This is meant to ease new players in, if anything; it’s the same reason they did the whole seeker investigation SP stuff.
@CCP_Falcon ^^^
Can someone please point us to how to redeem the SP?
IF there’s one thing we can count on, it’s that CCP has no idea how to properly run a business and certainly have no problem fudging metrics. Remember twisting one obscure super outlier metric to claim null ratters are making 360m ticks, just to push their agenda?
Also, just look at how much money they’ve poured into hilariously bad ideas that turned into failed projects. They had to sell out to PA to avoid bankruptcy. Pretending they make good business decisions is dubious at best.
I came here looking for answer from CCP how much I can be cheated on SP by bad RNG. But I see they are again so afraid of their mistakes (take look at ninja salvage and invasion) they wont say a word about it.
Except this is something that’s practically impossible to mess up, unless you’re a forum-goer apparently.
CCP has their metrics, and they’ve used them for 16 years to success without you ever seeing any of it. They also set up the blackout so that, and they’ve stated this, it could be reversed at any time. They wouldn’t actively go out of their way to bloat PCU because they’re supposedly dropping from said thing they could undo at any moment. That makes no sense no matter how you twist it.
Now, personally, I’d like an answer on why this event managed to launch bugged, like every other event. That’s something CCP does have a bad history with, and they’ve managed to do it again.
Open your training queue
on the bottom left there is a button apply skill points, next to it should say the amount and then click it.
Hahahahaha, success? As in failing so many times they axed most of their employees, most talent has left, and they had to sell out to stay alive? Sorry, but we have different measures of success.
EVE is unique enough that it has survived, but in most cases despite of CCP’s tinkering, not because of.
blackout is utter nonsense
so add more crap
you are cheaters
Thanks for ruining the game
injector free skillpoint
Easy SP, thanks CCP.
It is desperate to see the bunch of whiners Everyday on those forums… No matter what CCP do, some people Always complain….
Don’t be jealous that some people got 50.000 SP yesterday while you only received 10.000. It is still 10.000 free SP and CCP had no obligation to gift them to you. Maybe tomorrow you’ll get 50.000… Actually, you just look like 3 y.o kids opening presents on Xmas day and whining because the other kid had a larger gift…
Another good event CCP. Sorry but I gotta go back to the Kyonoke Pit to continue my research.
So you are saying that in this environment they are outperforming you?
Are you a communist? Life was never fair and not everyone gets the same.
This!
Ran into a bug finished the quest on an alt finished the daily but didn’t get the sp.
I think you’re on to something here. Here, take an upvote.
The whining goes like this :
A: CCP DO SOMETHING!!!
B: CCP NOT THAT!!!
If you encounter a bug with the completion of the mission for the skill points then submit a ticket on the issue. https://support.eveonline.com
The issue that exists is that sometimes the mission is completed but the ticket stop after changing to “Unallocated skillpoints added”. At that time there is no skillpoints added and the ticker do not move over to displaying how long it is until you can do the mission again.
In those circumstances a trained dog would be able to “outperform” a subcap ratter, so even though average ganktard capabilities are not much more over the good boy’s par, they are able to succeed when it’s 100% safe to do so.
Direct quote : "Gain as many Skill Points as you can during the Skilling Spree between 24 July and 21 August for destroying any NPC in New Eden! "
I’ve killed a couple of random NPCs, so where’s my 30,000 skill points???
they dont mean at midnight, they mean at downtime. good greif
Either way, the quote implies that killing ANY NPCs will give you thousands of skill points, is that some kind of a misprint? Seems to good to be true to be honest.
