No reasons such as too much pvp favor for way too long and missing the turning point in which a turnaround could have been possible…
This pvp approach is outdated and fallen out of time.
This is no pvp game…

Actually, just use this lack of logic to point out its a blue unicorn every time he says it
To be honest I don’t have a problem with player owned gates in highsec, would be a great conflict generator and passive revenue source, how much toll would you pay to bypass chokepoints?
Or how about filaments to jump you to a random highsec system?
Redundant, we have highsec to highsec wormholes for that.
Triglavian instanced mining pocket that last for 12 hours and can only be accessed solo, or as a three person mining fleet?
Can be done by improving the co-op mining content that has been abandoned.
Oh please, stop it already, your “facts” are never backed-up by any real datas, and every time someone put you in front of REAL facts you stop answering.
The only problem is that you actually don’t know what the word “facts” stand for, Darlo.
My bad, I didnt search the forum before creating another thread where I could had just commented on the tail of this one.
Anyhow I had solved my issue with this skill for kills, I am going to fly around on an alt pilot.
I think it would have been more interesting if both the winner and loser got skill points. Alas.
Or they could maybe have set up varying goals. I haven’t even logged in yet so don’t know what the actual goals are, but they could have done something like:
15k SP - Kill 1 player ship, or lose 2 of yours to other players.
40k SP - Kill 3 players or lose 5 of yours.
75k SP - Kill 5 players or lose 8 of yours.
etc. Then we’d have an odd situation where people were flying out begging to be killed.

Yes, that was exactly how I imagined it. People would be willing to give PvP a try if they were only risking a cheap frigate and they knew that they would get skillpoints no matter what.
Agreed if both the one killing and the one losing the ship would get the SP it would be much more encouraging for people to participate especially newer and non-combat focused players. Not that I had high expectations as this is CCP we’re talking about but yeah at least I hoped.
Imagine the hilarity if the tiers were
2 kills 20000
10 kills 250000
25 kills 500000
50 kills 1000000
The amount of ISK lost from a decently fit ship would buy many times more SP if it was put towards injectors of any size than would be gained from getting pvp kills. LOL!!!
How about even more incentives like adding another layer of ship protection for duels that replace 100% of ship lost in a duel.
Agreed, underwhelming, without any level of creativity. Just another tin of SP with a different label. Not enough of a stimulation for new players to get involved in pvp.
How about not removing consequences for actions.
Turns out that’s exactly what this is.
You can fight some people in a fleet or small gang, including killing blows, but no SP. This is a pop-your-alt event.
Lots of whine, salt and fear.
This is sarcasm I hope. Otherwise you are very risk averse and in the wrong game
Well I was moving towards a suggestion rather than a sarcasm to say the least.
You can essily get a decent PvP frig for ~10mil or less. Get a few friends together and you can go even cheaper.
The whole thing is about getting a small reward for some casual PvP fun. But that clearly goes over the heads of our typical min/max farmer trash.
Dont make fun.
Maybe a 2.5m Punisher is very expensive for him.
