Welcome to the pvp sandbox. 
This event seems like a fun excuse to go and get blown up. Kind of a bonus for people that already PVP, too. My corp is excited.
No reason some people being lame and blowing up alts should ruin the fun for people that actually play the game. Besides, they could already just log in with those alts and kill a few rats for the PVE SP events.
CCP should run or sponsor a big frigate brawl or something, so even PVP nubs and new players can get in on the action.
Turn that “Friendly FIre” option on for this one, I guess

Yeah, I’ve got to add my two cents as well.
First, to everyone giving him crap for being a pure carebear, it’s a video game. No one can say what is the right or wrong way to play. He’s free to PvE all the time, PvP all the time, play alone, play in groups, practice NRDS, NBSI, NPSI, awox, give helpful advice to his enemies, scam his friends, and so on. As long as he’s not violating the EULA, there is no wrong way to play. And the fact that Eve is a PvP centric game with a competitive culture doesn’t change that.
Second, my dude, Eve players can smell weakness. And, I say this in the nicest possible way, but this post is kind of whiny. I mean even you seemed to expect to get a negative reaction.
Regardless, instead of complaining, try to figure out how you can make this work for you. You’re a carebear? That’s fine. If you have at least two omega accounts, you’ll be able to log on at the same time and kill your alts. I don’t know what the daily tasks are, or if the client can tell the difference between a legit pvp kill and you killing your alts, but my guess is that you can probably just buy a stack of 60 t1 frigs (or however many you need) for like 15 mil, and then just kill your alts every day.
And if you don’t have an omega alt, ask around in your corp (or in local if you’re solo) for people who want to trade kills. I’m sure there are plenty of other people who would happily oblige.

I would like to point out a couple of things here:
- This is the “Fight Or Flight Quarter” - the PvP quarter of the year as announced towards the end of last year;
- There have already been 3 months of PvE ‘Skilling Spree’ event(s) - including the one CURRENTLY running, DURING the PvP-themed quarter! ;
- There was also, at the same time we found out there would be this PvP quarter, a part of that announcement that said there would also be a “purely PvE” quarter.
Keep in mind that EVE (Everyone Vs. Everyone in case you forgot) is a PvP-based game in which there has been PvE-based SP gaining events running for 3 months out of the last 5 - including during this PvP-based “themed quarter” - AND there will be a whole quarter dedicated to JUST PvE - honestly you whining fkrs, HOW MUCH MORE DO YOU FKN WANT?!??
To be fair, I’d probably make a complain thread if I was required to mine 10 asteroids for SP.

I’m still not even sure what people mean by “abusing” or “exploiting” this with alts.
CCP isn’t creative. They’re gonna do the same thing they did last time.
Kill 1 player : 10,000 SP
Kill 5 players : 25,000 SP
Kill 10 players : 50,000 SP
And instead of pvping, people will just feed each other alts. You get your kills for the day, trade off, maybe volunteer to sacrifice a few cheap free Corvettes (since the quest tracker doesn’t care what ship) and a couple of minutes of your time. Once you get your kills in, you get the SP.
I’m not sure how this is “abuse” or “exploiting”. It’s not like you get MORE SP for killing your alts repeatedly. You can only finish those daily quests once.

I’ve been finding myself agree with several of your posts, I’d just wish you’d use more tact.
Probably because there’s no searching or any other extra actions required to find a target to complete the task like there is in the PvE tasks. Players with multiple accounts will be able to quickly complete the larger tasks easily with little effort.

That’s not why he’s receiving crap. Its his hypocracy, not his choice of how he plays.
Every event up to now has been PVE based. Kill NPCs.
There are plenty of people that play the game that don’t ever PVE. That’s a choice we make. None of us are excluded from it, but many people choose not to PVE.
However, one event focused on PVP is suddenly discriminatory? He wasn’t here waving a banner for PVP only players during past events. He’s just here whinging because this one event doesn’t suit him, when every other event has.

Why? If PVE players do PVE, then they don’t have to do anything other than play normally. There’s no searching involved in any previous event.

People brought up a lot of stuff, and I do think a lot of them had valid points. However, people were also giving him ship for not PvP’ing as well.
@Alfried_Patrouette Your name has just been added to agent locators all over EvE, you will soon find out this is a PvP game :D. I personally don’t PvP either in fact I don’t do much of anything as barely get the time to log in but saying that your being excluded because you only PvE is your choice.
You are excluding yourself, get in a T1 frig and organise some T1 frig fights between your fellow PvE m8s if your worried about going to low/null or wormholes.
Zero tolerance for PVP is the only solution that will save this game from vanishing…
People that don’t understand that 90% of all players DON’T WANT to PVP are just forever yesterday people that simply DON’T WANT the game to be changed to the better.
It’s completely irrelevant what CCP does,pearl abyss will force them sooner or later to do the right thing or they will simply close the server.

Well that’s simple…
PVP is a 10% minority even here and CCP fears if it would last longer they would loose normal(non pvp) players in even greater numbers than they did in the past…
Well, then why those 90% undock now? PvP exists already.
