PvP, always an activity involving outsmarting (tactically - by picking time, place and method - and practically - by taking advantage of ship fittings and properties) the opponent. What’s wrong with it ? Sorry for your loss, as always, but get back in the saddle and get even.
Please add the following to the mug (which is fabulous btw):
THEN = a ■■■■■■■ condition or time
THAN = a ■■■■■■■ comparison

Did you play Eve before the abyssal mods rot ?
If yes, then your reaction to this thread is completely dishonest and fake. You’re probably one of those abyssal mod users, a ■■■■ pilot, and enjoying your 'paid for" glory like a pathetic “then” sore loser.
There’s nothing “outsmarting” about paying more isk to win a fight and feel less ■■■■ about yourself.
I rarely run PvE as it’s boring as ■■■■. Try again…
You’re space poor, we get it…move on…
We can always discuss this when you’ve cooled down a bit. But getting abyssal mods doesn’t require using isk, if you do it right.
Those who replace them in a matter of minutes with isk, is the problem.
Or rather, the design decision from above to allow these shitters to have access to such mods just with their isk.
There will always be somebody with more ISK than you…deal with it…
I want to force you/them to PVE and work hard to get those mods, not just through isk.
Then you’ll shut up, and there will be less dickheads running around claiming “elite pvper” status.
They could have worked hard to get that ISK in the first place…ever think of that? Doubtful…
Isk is hard work to make ? lol
For you it seems…
How old are you? You sound like an 8-year old stamping his feet.
To some, that seems to be true. I made apx 50 bil last yr for just 20 minutes time each day. Not including what I made doing other things.
Edit; another live one on the line!
it seems…
Just like the rich 8-year olds who were bad at the game before have now seen themselves become “elite” just from their wallet status.
Wallet warrioring was already bad with blue mods prior to abyssals, bad but still somewhat counterable hence balanced. All Ive been pointing out with this thread is that it’s made it even worse now with the way abyssal access was implemented, and it was not a very smart design decision.
First, you’ve given no evidence that whoever kicked your sorry ass was a “crap pilot”.
Second, since you got your sorry ass kicked, you’re probably the crap pilot; here to whine about it and blame your loss on “he’s rich and it’s all P2W!”. Because that’s a lot easier to swallow than “I suck at PvP”, I suppose.
Third, EVE is and always has been P2W, and if it wasn’t explicitly designed that way, it wouldn’t have lasted this long.
Fourth, if someone else is paying out big bucks to build a ship with Abyssal mods, that just makes him a great customer for EVE and a wonderful target for someone who’s actually good at PvP. That is to say, someone other than you.
Fifth, since none of the above are something you’re going to change by whining in forums about it, you may as well either learn the basic lessons of EVE (such as ‘don’t fly what you can’t afford to lose’) or simply get better at the game.
And last, the P2W nature of the game is a good thing, because it means that even crappy pilots can send dollars to CCP and buy themselves an ‘abusive abyssal mod setup’, so that they too, can go out and ‘steamroll’ people even though they suck at PvP.
I’ll start a timer now for how long it takes you to be back on the forums crying because you spent $200 on an abusive abyssal mod setup, and yet 3 ‘crap’ pilots in Alpha gank fits were able to trash your ship easily and loot your frozen corpse; and how unfair that all is and it’s just a bad setup for CCP to treat paying customers that way.
I was gonna answer but Kezrai did it better.
