But but but without gankers, AGs could finally engage in all this sweet and super fun PVE and mining. Which they want to do, but cannot because gankers exists.
They don’t want to sit hours on Sivala gate whoring on CONCORD kills and accomplishing nothing. They want to actually play the game and do lvl 4 missions in blinged marauders and mine plagio in 0.5 in ORE stripper hulks. But because those stupid gankers they are unable to do so.
If I were AG, I’d want even more people to gank, because then more action.

Ganking has many counters, why do players continuously deny this fact?
Inconvenient yes, but watch local, watch d-scan, watch intel, don’t autopilot, don’t AFK, use your contacts list etc… it’s frustratingly easy. I’ve been on both ends of the spectrum and I can confirm AG provides easy / low-risk content. Whilst ganking requires meticulous planning, co-ordination, optimals, timing etc. (to name a few variables).

We made a very big dent in the large ganks in places like uedama, we stopped many ganks, we even stopped Kusion 3 times in a row one day, our burst attacks on gank fleets work great, we even had success in stopping moving gank fleets going after miners, until they realised how good we was at that, now they won’t come near us.
Like I said before gankers don’t want to die to us and will find away around it.
Now they mostly attack miner and missions with a rich pool of targets to pick, we can never be in the right place and if we are they move on.
Only thing we can do is blockade an area but that gets boring fast, which we sometime have done in the past with big mining fleets we know.
It really needs miners to work together more and ask us for some cover why they mine
