Perhaps you misunderstand a fundamental aspect of this game: It’s a PvP game. EVE stands for Everyone Vs Everyone.
You specifically and knowingly consent to pvp, in all areas of the game, by hitting the ‘Undock’ button.
It’s always been this way, for the whole 20 year history of EVE.
That said, it’s not for everyone.

Welcome to any multiplayer game. Where the bored veterans and the more skilled will crush the newbies building their sandcastle. 
From the POV of the ganker that is their fun and way they make ISK. So, consider it from the shoes of the other side.
Well think about it. You did admit EVE is a complex game. I am even sure you think it has parallels to RL. Manufacturing for example is always done via scale (the richest can run their operation with x10 accounts +) The more they make pretty much the bigger their profits will be. (More to it but that’s the basics)
Industry is a place where multiboxers thrive. I am a solo indy guy. I accept I will be just doing it as a hobby until I get more accounts.
Sure, you seem like an instant gratification kind of person. You want your “fun” NOW. and not after training, learning, and refining skills the EVE required. Go try out MOBAs, FPS, even city builders really seem more down your alley.
Well, I am happy you are self-aware. Most people like you don’t want to admit their state of mind. EVE is not for everyone, and it is pretty darn hard for the newcomer. gl in your next games.
