On NPC hauler, the insurance should probably just be 11% flat fee of EIV no matter the distance, but the price per m3 is per jump (25 ISK). And then two new social skills that reduce the price per m3 by 1 isk per level and the price for insurance by 0.25 percentage points per level Unless im mistaken player haulers would still be competitive then for high value high m3 cargo which is the market they focus on in the first place
Hauling 2B worth of stuff from Jita to Hek costs about 40M with player corp.
But with the above numbers using the NPC service, it would cost at least 195M
But with low value, low amount cargo, NPC hauler becomes very cheap but player hauler corp remains expensive due to the minimum player wage
I would like to propose being able to couple a T1 or T2 hauler with a freighter and switch between the two in space and also drag and drop items between their inventories and a new skill that enables this. The higher its trained the bigger the assembled hauler you can carry with u. (I tried to search for this idea but nothing seem to come up)
so you are sitting in a ship and you have another ship of yours unmanned your sitting at ? oO
you still can do this right now ! switch between your hauler and your freighter but maybe i will come and take your freighter as you sit in your hauler ! stupid idea to du such things
now you also want that you can take the stuff out of your cargo ? you already can take your stuff out of your cargo the cargo called âFleet Hangarâ ( not sure if it works on an unmanned ship )
so your idea is now to get a fleet hangar to every hauling ship ? doesnt make sense and is just stupid !
Why in the world would you ever consider leaving you freighter and/tech 2 hauler podless in space!
Maybe leaving it space is not for everyone, or anyone? But at least you can bring a nimble hauler with you, dock, whip it out, and then scoop up any items in stations in the system, then attach the two again and move on to the next system, until the freighter is completely full. It will be up to the player to determine when its worth whipping out the nimble hauler or not. In some circumstances it will be beneficial in others probably not. But it would be cool if it was possible.
RE: the NPC hauler thing. Part of the UI could mimic industry UI, since it will take 1 minute per jump. So 20 jumps will take 20 minutes to arrive. So in the UI window you can follow progress + some other things. Maybe there should be random chances of delays for insured packages. And random chance for uninsured packages to be lost. The logistics window will show the status.
Maybe each player should be limited to 5 logistics jobs by default and then maybe a new skill that enables 1 more job for each level. Sort of how manufacturing and research jobs are also limited to around 10/11 per character. I for one am not a fan of the system cost index, but you could incorporate it into the cost of starting a logistics job i guess.
You can just ask and i will u give my alts. But in general its not cool to be doxing?
Industry queue
Issue: Too little industry slots available (imo) & inconvenient to have all slots finish at same time
Situation: Log in, deliver jobs, start new jobs, want them all to finish in x amount hours aka next time i plan to log in but BPs take different time to run so there is some fiddling around to have them finish at same time
Solution?
Additional input slot where you input amount of hours you want a blueprint to run, or the time you want it to compete and have it run however many runs until hten
Bonus solution? An industry job queue
Itâs not âdoxxingâ when itâs all public information thatâs very easy to find.
doxxing would be me finding your home address and real name. which 1: I canât be bothered and 2: would be pretty creepy.
they are either your alts or not your alts but its still a public information that all of this chars are in the same corp and youre the CEO so everybody can easy see its your corp !
