I think it would be a good idea if we could have something like:
Bind “Specific drone(1-5) to attack/mine specific target” to a new shortcut key combination instead of constant right click on each specific drone to do it.

Why would you want to split the drones anyway? Isn’t the idea of “the faster you bring down a target the less damage in turn you receive” enough? Just press F to pay respects to your target and the drones will deal with the rest.
For miners, sure that would be nice.
1 ECM + 4 DPS drones, DPS one target ECM the other.
Or if drones got changed to be more like carriers with tubes and the dedicated drone ships get 3 DPS + 1 support or something like that. That are treated as ‘single’ entities.
Always heard it is ineffective to use just 1 ECM drone, everywhere I look they either use a full flight of 5 combat drones or 5 ecm drones.

Now my basi can attack 5 targets at once in the alpha volley fleet, and I can actually get on a few kills
