Stop bugging me with bull****

No, the OP’s issue with safe-logging isn’t the waiting.

It’s that using that function doesn’t do its own housekeeping. If modules are running, just uncycle them instead of complaining. If you’re in a fleet and that’s an issue, just automatically quit the fleet. If you’re cloaked, just uncloak automatically. Basically, if something is stopping you that isn’t a timer, just get on with it.

takes one second to break warp invuln. that’s non issue. what about bastion, or industrial cores that lock a ship in place? you get to break them instantly? because that sure could mean avoiding combat…

Noboby is asking for that.
Nobody wants to skip timers or anything.

The idea has been explained in the topic very well, why do people bring up concerns against points that no one has ever asked for?

But turning off modules is essentially a form of timer, you need to deactivate the module and wait for the cycle to finish.

sure they are. it’s in the OP …

yeah why can’t the game do it for me. turn them red, safe log after. Why do I have to do all the stupid clicking? I want to safe log, so I have to do all the things, why can’t this be automated, instead of the superfluous nagging?

no, turn bastion red, log off at the end of the cycle. Are you guys really this daft?

How about the timer is extended to 1 min as compensation?

compensation for UI improvements. this is the world we live in XD

No, compensation for automation.

And the suggestion only turns off the modules once you log off safely, they decycle just like normal and once all of them are off, the 30second logoff timer begins. You don’t log off a single second faster than you would today.

I had no problem with an 1 minute safe logoff timer. I think 30 seconds are too short anyway, because even a very fast prober would need to scan you down, accelerate, warp, slow down, lock and tackle. I personally never was caught when trying to safelog, and hell, people have tried.

So if that would be the deal, I’d take it.

bump. remove the annoyance.

Safe Logoff is deliberately not allowed to override core risk mechanics

Please explain how safe logging turning off your shield booster and dropping fleet for you instead of you doing it is “avoiding risk mechanics”.

without breaking the rules and quoting a GM, i cannot say more than that.

warping, coming out of warp, being in a fleet etc.. the game shows you are “active” .. if you are sitting in space with nothing going on or around you, it doesn’t see you as “active” therefore allowing the safe log-off.

the ship must be completely neutral to log off safely.

playing *diot seems to be your second game besides eve XD

Im just telling you in a round about way without copy pasting them what they said. You have to be doing nothing or involved in anything for safe log off to work.

Nobody has ever ask for anything like that. Please don’t play stupid.

They count anything active, invul timer, etc that you and OP believe should be over ridden as core mechanics. The game sees any activity and it cancels the safe log. You cannot be doing anything and they want you in complete neutrality to log off safely

If they allow safe log off to override certain situations, that could open the doorway for people to abuse it

Nobody is asking for this. Stop playing stupid, thank you.

If they are not asking for automation of the steps required to prepare your ship for safe log, then what are they asking for?
