I don’t see where you’re getting the idea that CCP doesn’t call it highsec. They may not have coined the term, but they use it frequently. It appears in Scope articles and videos (which are ostensibly IC, making it an official term the residents of the cluster themselves use), it appears in dev notes, it even appears in the game itself, for example the agent finder.

Could I request that you move this back to General since I am not seeking game mechanic changes? This is a plea to the eve community and not to ccp.

Even if nobody wants to adopt this idea I just want to put it out there for consideration. A few members of my corp have spent a good portion of our game time helping new players and while I do not try to speak for anyone else and I am not really asking anyone to change their own speech I think just having this idea out there for other people that also want to help new players get on the same page as players that have been around longer.

@Remi_Lacroix I came to agree with your crude idea, not in totality, but partially. You pirates have rudimentary thinking, one must digest the core before understanding the real point.

Yes, calling anything from 0.7 → 0.5 as HighSec is absurd, a more appropriate term is MidSec or MediumSec. Players were lazy and did a rudimentary distinction between NOOBcord answer and no answer, a more granular terminology is needed to give unadvised capsuleers proper guidance.

I also want to for good give miners the only advice they need, not the one they want. I don’t expect them to listen, but in my best intention, and best to EVE, I gonna do it.

First I need to cite some guy that’s red on my overview due to my corp standards, John Ogden, the dude is 24/7 floating around Jita 4-4 in his tornado. One may think he’s just ■■■■■■■ around, NO! John is making a statement, or better a rudimentary demonstration of power, why rudimentary? Well it’s just a T1 ship made for people with Grandiose sindrome, so John wants to shoot like a big boy, but he only flies a medium ship.

IT DOES NOT MATTER!!! The point is, John is making a demonstration, don’t mess with me or else…

That point clear, let’s go back to miners. Miners are cheap fuks, they want to fly their puny miners around and be safe. THAT CANNOT BE, it’s like asking a dog to not eat the meat. What should miners do? Miners need to also make a rudimentary demonstration of power! But how you may ask?

STOP BEING GREEDY, hire logi to protect you until Concord arrives. Why they don’t? Because they just want max profits. They trade their lives for small margins… The worst people evar to navigate these spaces.

Without any more input to this matter, and no intentions to pursue these ideas any further, they won’t go any anywhere, we all know greedy knows no limits, I rest my case with a proper answer to the op proposition, although primitive, it has some correctness at its core.

End, go away now.

Start with medium security, baby steps are easier to implement than drastic steps.

Also, I’m a ■■■■ player, I expect 30% of my posts to be right, but I’m pretty sure no Orca was killed in CONCORD response space while being assisted by logistics. Otherwise something is very wrong around here.

PS: I can only hope John don’t shoot me because this post, it was just an example.

I do believe that logi used to be concorded for repping ships being ganked, which also resulted in the soon to be ganked ship to finish being ganked! I do not recall when that was changed though.

I am a little bit confused why this was added to my post. I am not an isd and have no power to remove posts.

because they probably removed part of your post.

No. I hire no one in High Sec. I mine as much as I can while in ships with not only blingy fits, but with a gold paint job on my mining ships. I flaunt my wealth as I mine an entire field without any concern for ownership

Damn, that ■■■■ improves turret tracking by 10%.

Indeed! Gankers need a lot of help sometimes.

Although I did that suggestion fully knowing it won’t happen in any way, I kind envisioned the EVE framework in action, like alpha bros being hired and all that.

I also envisioned one day the hired alpha bros being bribed by the pirates and instead of logi they come fitted with scram and nosferatu.

In the end this is all crap, Indys destroyed the game, they accept any garbage CCP throw at us IF the right Blueprint is offered. Without indy financing we can’t revolt against CPP and bombard Jita properly. The system is rigged, the bourgeoise always lead to socialism, the common capsuleer without access to T2 can only do so much using the Navy Issue, which will be denied to us during an uprising.

And that’s how Triglavians come to exist, CCP bribed Industrialists with shiny blueprints. And now they propose to throw the common capsuleer out of HS… Total shame.

No one would hire Alphas for defense.

It was an overlook from my part, I don’t know that much EVE yet.

People probable gonna ask for a lot of API stuff and curriculum and stuff. Alphas are really shady, I totally ignored my environment while typing.

That’s not why I wouldn’t hire them. Everyone in Eve is shady. I wouldn’t hire them because they aren’t good pilots. Limited skills, ships, and modules. They’re not effective logi pilots in my opinion. Sure they can fly T1 ships with some T2 mods, but I’d only hire the best.

I swear when I posted this I wasn’t aware LP stores don’t have the hulls anymore, just BPCs, because you know, indy…

When my wildest trolling starts to hit reality, things are bad… I’m sad now.

Uhhhh… what? I’m not following. And you spelled my name wrong.

I’m very sorry for that. Honest mistake.

And Jon, it was just a joke, nothing against you. You were just the first on my overview with red standing.

Damn, sry, forgot it again. Welcome to the forums!

2nd time in the same day! They should vote for me to CSM. I made two long time players to use the forums for the 1st time. Damn I’m just too good!

But why is he set to red? What did he ever do to you?
