Like I said, very telling.
Thatās all the gankers ever do. They change the wording of their posts and post the same thing over and over again, thus proving they lack validation.
Why donāt we see the top PvPerās on the forums engaging in the same promotion of look at me, look at me and how good I am? Because the top PvPerās donāt need validation, all they need is their Kboard.
Thatās all the anti-gankers ever do. They change the wording of their posts and post the same thing over and over again, thus proving they lack validation.
The person whose comment I copied has been doing this for nearly as long as Eve Online has been, well, online.
Seems like you like telling stories, please allow me to share an image that paints a story for telling others other than oneself.
I will say IMO its not the ganks they are an intended game play loop. its the whales. allowing a single player to create their own gank squad or ice mining squad of more than 3 characters breaks the game play loop. 100% eve problems would be solve by limited 3 simultaneous accounts per IP address. I know ccp will never do this the only thing propping this game up from total collapse are the whales with 10-30 accounts. The inflation, the ice mining issues, the ganking issue all revolve back to allowing to many multi boxing accounts per player. Most reputable pvp games limit how many characters you can play at once. Eve seems to have ignored that in favor of profits. So go ahead whine some more, I am calling it legit how i see it as 20 year vet of eve.
By your IP suggestion, I see you have tried, but have no technical IT backgroundā¦
I am not even going to bite, though I know those killer whales sure did! ![]()
This is balanced out by ganker multiboxers. Reddit just posted about a ganker with 34 cats.
Oooh now I see what you are after a balance!
That makes sense that someone can access loot faster than others. That is very balanced indeed.
EVE is not real life though, yet EVE is very similar to real life here and does already consider such an act theft!
āTheftā in EVE results in a suspect timer.
In this case that happens as well: theft from such a wreck get a suspect timer so anyone can legally attack the thief.
Iām guessing this one? Because holy ā ā ā ā thatās absolutely sad to see. High Sec is literally the most dangerous area in the game.
Hereās the actual link
If heād spent the money for a max fit, it would have survived that gate camp. But I can easily understand why he thought that would have been enough. Under most circumstances, it would have been.
The original point still stands. Highsec absolutely falls apart when people can simply launch 30+ alts to kill a ship that they wouldnāt be able to scratch otherwise.
Itās dangerous for sure. Iām not disputing that one bit!
No, the ability to instantly scoop large amounts of loot from a wreck destroyed by gankers not involved in the gank is an exploit.
If neutrals are not allowed to remote rep a ship under a gank attack, then why should gankers not involved with the gank be allowed to scoop the loot instantly?
With all of the Concord on scene, those in Concord who have been bribed would instantly be found out due to the wreck contents not having been checked.
Therefore Concord must be given enough time ,at least 30 seconds, to check the loot for illegal cargo. After finishing the investigation and due to content not legally belonging to Concord or the gankers, the owner of the wreck has three minutes to get another ship and retrieve as much of their loot as possible. After three minutes the can turns blue for anyone too loot.
Why should gankers be allowed to retrieve loot legally that was aquired illegally to begin with?
If gankers are so good at PvP, align the Orca to a ganker station, fit the Orca with fast align and warp speed, loot the wreck at near warp out then warp out within the time frame that the owner is reshipping which triggers a suspect timer.
The gank was an illegal action so to should the act of looting the wreck by neurtal gankers also be considered an illegal action.
Thus more PvP is generated around the wreck then the mere gank itself.
A neutral can remote rep a gank victim. If the gank victim isnāt suspect, then the remote repper wonāt be suspect.
When Iām mining, I have 2 large repair drones from the Orca on the Hulk at all times with the Hulk targetted for a remote shield booster II that can be turned on in an instant. Itās not full proof, but it serves as a deterrent and increases the number of coercers needed.
Correction, you canāt rep someone who, from shooting back at the ganker, is under the effect of a limited engagement timer in High Sec. That is considered āinterferanceā, and thus a criminal activity. Which is immensely stupid, but itās another thing CCP does to weigh things in the gankersā favor.
I assume the intent was to stop people from interfering in duels.
Did you do the math on the killmail? Was it a loss or a win for the gankers?
Also what prevented the Orca pilot from mounting a better defense? Do you have any idea how such defenses could look like?
Mining barges and exhumers have about 5 seconds to live under normal circumstances. Theyāre not known for shooting back
