You will be missed but this is not a time to be sad but to celebrate! I hope you all the best in your future endeavors and career, to boldy go where no man…nope not that (yes I do make bad puns too, you’ve grown on me), you will be forever in my heart still flying through the galaxy in EVE , I rather say: Fly safe, call for backup in a dogfight, explore and learn and enjoy where your new flight and adventure takes you!

Unfortunately my main was sold several years ago, so I can’t post with a name that might be the faintest bit familiar. I regret never getting the chance to meet you during your visits to the western US. Always hoped I could buy you guys a round after GDC or something. The game - the company - will not be the same without you. Thank you.
Both gutted and thrilled that you are off to begin a new adventure. New challenges, new opportunities. I have no doubt that you are the right man for the job.

Visible part of CCP goes away and visible is replaced with invisible. CCP lost lots of visibility today. Sad to see CCP Guard go away from CCP.

I’ve only ever attended one Dev meet at Eve Vegas a long way back in 2013. You got a big heart, for such a little guy. I remember enjoying the rooftop view and lighting my pipe, watching the interactions of the groups around me, and it lit up something that has always helped carry me along. It’s a strange thing to see how indefatigable good nature can be so resilient to foul winds or foul words. You’ll always be a face that comes to mind when I struggle towards imitating that sense of brotherhood you emanate. My words wound as often as they heal, but even just the mere recollection of you reinvigorates the heart. That’s pretty astounding.

@CCP_Guard Thank you for everything you have done for the game and for the community. Know that your efforts and hard work have not been overlooked or taken for granted in the community. I believe we first met at Vegas and talked and fellowshipped while drinking and eating.
Honestly some of the projects you worked on made a big deal in my gaming experience that allowed Eve to be special and amazing. It becomes more than a game when the devs, players, and community form something much more than the sum total of what we are. We formed a family and for that I give you my utter respects. Thank you for everything you do and hopefully in Vegas if we bump into each other I will buy some beers.
