The cost of suicide ganking is too low

The point that your friends are violating the EULA and you think that is something normal? Maybe CCP should checkout who you hang out with in the game?

A single small gun ship has to close to apply damage, which is a period of grace to partially or complete locking said small ship. In a belt, its pretty rare for example for a ganker to land elsewhere than the warp in, and if you are in a q-boat, you probably start aligning to look like you are running.

There are many nereus solo kills on zkillboard, the minimum time to die for a destroyer can be below 20 seconds (if you’ve got the lock away before combat initiates). It is sufficient.

They are specialist hauling ships.

No, you are clearly Lucas Kehl, while OP is Infinity Ziona. AmIright? Or maybe you both have similar anger issues.

Did you report them?
Because complaining about the abuse of an exploit, while being complicit in its use, seems somewhat disingenuous, at least to me.

Also how long have there been Alpha accounts? such that you can attest alliance mates and friends and hell even ‘a suicide ganker’ (who is not also a friend or alliance mate, so who is she?), have been doing it for years?

Sometimes, when we try really, really, hard to make a point,
what we actually do is invalidate that point by trying
really. really. hard.

PS> Eve has been ‘free to play’ since introduction of allowing gtc sales for isk on the forums, which happened around 2007 I think.

Infinity Ziona never was such a maniac lusting for power over others, seeking fellowship by making angry speeches. OP is a different kind of wacko. Clearly real life aggressive, considering his behaviour here. Definitely driven by his feelings, and he clearly does not care an inch about people. Most likely he is everything he calls the others. D

In any case, he’s completely delusional thinking it’ll achieve anything. He wants to be a “big boy”, and he’s not mature enough to pull it off.

Good morning everyone!

Skill farming.

Some people are good at rl and retire in their 30’s, or semi retire in their later thirties
Others have jobs that give them time
Some may be unemployed and living off the state, or
be stay at home fathers/mothersor peeps who work from home, or in IT, who can multi-box gank fleets to pings and then return to their other business.
Some people have 6 monitors, multibox eve on 3, play pubg on, one, multibox six poker tables on another, and trade stocks, cfd’s or currency on another- some of these people will even masturbate to porn on their tablet computer at the same time.
Multi-tasking ftw I guess, or git gud?

None of these imply someone has ‘too much time on their hands’.

Good try though, would respond again (low effort and risk activity for small reward of feeling smug, multi-tasking even I can manage, as I am also laughing heartily at your logic and smoking a cigar)-

How can one have ‘too much time on their hands’?

As you are want to say, nobody can predict emergent content.

Every change results in unpredictable consequences, because people are unpredictable actors.

I merely said that the Alpha changes may prompt review.

Since this topic became classic already it requires its own discobot as well! :amphora:

Indeed. The regular rabble we see in this and every thread really need to pull their head out and get a life. You would expect the competent of suicide gankers to want a change like this as it would separate the wheat from the chaff, and create an environment where more players were willing to take transport risks in HS.

Out of all the gankers in this thread, only two managed to not lose their chit immediately when they saw the topic. :smile_cat:

Much unwanted truth. Many touched.

Lol, says the guy who gets so mad about a game he pretends to not even play that he creates a troll char a thread full of his tears and cries all around the forums. That is rich.

Thousands of players manage to mine and haul their stuff just fine in Highsec without the need to come to the forums and tell everyone how hard the game is. If you would invest only a fraction of the time you wasted with crying into actually playing the game, like choosing the right ship for the right task and fitting it correctly you would have solved the issue you have already on your own.

I know some may have difficulties with this, EVE can sometimes be overwhelming for a new player. But if you ask, does not even matter where, people will help you understand the game so you can finally enjoy it.

What is your own ratio of playing:posting?

Remember, we can all see each others forum stats, before you answer that.

You can check my kb if you want. I’m probably one of the more active players in this thread. :space_invader:

RABBLE- an ‘ordinary’ occurrence, something that happens with 'regularity’
RABBLE- etymologically from (medieval I think) English meaning ‘string of meaningless words’ - in the modern usage used to define a group as disorderly in some way, a denigration and an assertion for sure, whether warranted can only be decided by the evidence afforded by our senses.

This applies to both elite and none elite pvpers.
So is
@Fabulous_Rod = regular rabble

The evidence presented to my senses by his posting history
Indicates this may be the case

Furthermore, I no longer believe he was ever an elte pvper in darkfall or UO, I believe he played these games and was as unnafective and inconsequential there, as he is here.

This is only my opinion, but the REGULARITY of his RABBLE
Has made me question not only his ability to successful play any game which requires basic social skills. Thus, based on the monument to idiocy that is his post history, as this opinion is, I declare it a valid deduction.

As opposed to his views, which he keeps repeating over and over again, to assert his superiority when he is unable to do so in game.

The very meaning of regular rabble.

TLDR: This post by Patti contained little actual content, and was largely self serving, and perhaps attention seeking- all qualities it shares with the OP.

That’s a good one. I’ll copy it.

Your observation and fonclusions about him seem spot on. For his own sake i hope he’s just pretending, but that’s unlikely.

But to ‘pretend’ with such fervour and effort expended
Would surely be a greater monument to idiocy
Than if his posts were sincere
And he was merely a knob?

i don’t know. in the end it’s a game, so pretending is fair. nonetheless, it’s extremely unlikely. it’s far more likely that he is exactly as we observe him, because someone who is smart enough to pretend-behave like this would also be smart enough to think before posting, which he clearly isn’t. my conclusion is that he’s a louder totalitarian, guilty of most things he accuses others of. And his thorax is, for some reason, shorter than others. must be a flaw in production somewhere.

Ahem.

Or someone could be smart enough to pretend-behave and even smart enough to pretend not to think before posting. :stuck_out_tongue:
Anyhow, no matter the personal stance on ganking mechanics, I think everyone should try to stay on topic and not turn a thread into some personalized ping pong. There is no need for that anyway, since CCPs stance on ganking is relatively clear and if they were to change mechanics, it would probably not be to outright nerf or buff ganking or “make hauling safe”, but rather come up with more options for both sides. If they were to touch it and that’s unlikely.

Some of them might have bought VR devices … just saying.

I was a new player once; it was in 2013. The experience was certainly overwhelming.

I could have quit, or stayed and grumbled. Instead I read everything I could get my hands on, much of it out-of-date even then, and poorly presented. I persevered, even after being ganked in Lowsec whilst reading one of those juicy guides, parked slap-bang amongst the rubble of an asteroid belt. I ask you…

I can never understand why people just won’t take the time to find out about the game to which they intend to devote a significant portion of their available leisure. vOv
