The CSM 13 Winter Summit Minutes are out

For the record, as far as ‘picking off dumb people from Nullsec’ goes… keep it up! :+1:

Seriously, seeing what idiots get caught with their pants down and mocking them for it is awesome.

But it’s not just idiots. I agree with you though, pointing and laughing is fun.

There you go. That was most definitely not just Razor. They would have lost that battle on their own. It was not however the full weight of the CFC but it was a CFC CTA. But we are going off topic here. More Razor supers than I remember, but still.

81 Goons? That likely wasn’t even a strategic ping. There’s only two names on there that stand out as potential FCs… this looks very much like a SIG or peacetime fleet being dragged along to ‘help out’. Still, that is damned peculiar, ain’t it?

Anyway, you’re right, that’s ranging a bit far afield.

Yes it will. Social Corporations give groups the same opt-out as being in a NPC corp with the additional benefits of…

… custom name and a logo.

For some people, having a group identity is the whole point of a corporation.

That you do not personally value it, that you do not see how it is a keystone of the social fabric that binds players together, that you resist the idea of such a change while decrying it as being functionally no different than present NPC states which lack an ownership of their identity, makes you part of the status quo, which isn’t just failing one section of the community, its failing the entire game.

Arrendis has contributed to this debate as much as, if not more so, than you have.

Stop digging your hole deeper.

Eh, I’m sure he knows exactly why people would value it. It’s just that he’s obviously someone’s alt.

I was talking about a specific post which I deemed to be childish as the post he made was on a botting event which was common knowledge and commented on by CCP Falcon.

Good because you added nothing to this debate with that pathetic little troll dig, apart from proving that you had nothing to refute what I said.

See the word that, it was rather specific in terms of a post which said this:

I was referring to a well known event of botting by the then PIRAT CEO. Now if you are unable to work out that I was reacting to a very specific post then more fool you. I have added you to my laugh at list…

In any case if you go up above you will find me liking a number of his posts.

LOL, you are digging your own hole and making it rather wide. :stuck_out_tongue:

Enough with the structures and forced PvP. The solution to player retention isn’t going to be add more PvP, thats what is causing the problem in the first place.

I don’t want to PvP against anything and the entire gaming community I used to play EvE with didn’t want to PvP either. You’ll be hard pressed to get them to stop playing WoT, like the data shows they just stopped logging in after the war started.

That is feelings from a person with three losses and no kills, I couldn’t give a monkeys what you think and do. I am talking about players who I came across in hisec that had something about them. You don’t look like one of them at all.

And you dug your hole even deeper with that.

Well, isn’t that exactly the kind of person any solution to the issue has to reach, though?

Who says that a social corp will ever seek to change its status?

No, that is the type of person that is really going to have a hard time getting the courage to do PvP, this is the type of example that you use, is it your alt? :stuck_out_tongue: Or one of the war deckers alts?

But I have come across people in hisec who want to go for PvP against the war deckers, there is not that many left in hisec, but they exist.

That type of person if it is a real person and not an alt shite posting, is never going to fight, I know that they exist, I have come across them myself, but anyway…

As opposed to how well the current system is doing where there are only player corporations ?

I have kills you ignorant elitist. I’m not on zkillboard. Each instance of PvP was non-consensual.

You do realise that zkillboard only knows what its told, its not a copy of every kill that happens in the entirety of EVE.

You mean people that want to fight back? Then you’re just giving the people who do war declarations exactly what they want. What do you do after the propaganda structure is down? Boo hoo, they lost something that probably won’t cost more than a machariel. They just put up another one.

Its no different to the big 0.0 entities that get forced out of their space and retreat into low-sec. Look how well that worked out in Delve.

I admit bias and have done a few times due to previous experience, which might have been avoided if social corporations existed, which makes me exactly the target audience of the solution.

I am merely competent at Eve, but your bustard fit is interesting…, if you want to throw such emotion around.

As if I did not know that. Can you tell me something I don’t know, might be a challenge, but fire away.

Yes and no, depends what you do and how you do it. Jita Holdings are a good example of doing it right.

And pay for another war dec…, it is a victory, rocks my boat, but obviously does not rock yours, deal with it…

? Not sure what you are trying to say with that. On that note time for shut eye, thanks for the laugh.

OK Dum Dum whatever you say, if it makes you feel important, looks like you burnt another posting alt…

Triggered…, as per normal.

@Brisc_Rubal

Do you have a list of CSM members attending EVE Vegas? I would like to contact them prior to the meeting so that I can at least ask them to get some more information; information that CCP will allow either through their own Dev or through the CSM to further illuminate certain issues brought up by the CSM gathering. While I understand you are having your hands full recreating The Alamo over in the October rebalancing thread, I see in the planned events talks about almost all those issues, but nothing is mentioned about other concerns that were brought to your attention. Besides yourself,Jin’taan, and Steve, are there any other CSM members that would be at least receptive to being sent inquiries about issues in HS and PvE? Thanks!

let him, he’s good at it
