The first highsec system flipped!

Not at this stage in the game. It will just make Caldari high sec the only relevant highsec. Which then also has bad imbalances on FW as well. The Jita stockpiles are too deep and the other hubs too shallow.

@Tipa_Riot Ah so the same department that produced the laser raven. Gotcha.

It creates conflict…, real conflict, not the false bull that most forum posters go on about.

Yeah. I just don’t see it producing real conflict. I see it just turning a whole swathe of in game areas barren instead.

People will get pushed together in Caldari space so they can fight over the benefits of the market, the rest of space will be for those looking to stay out of the way. I think it would make the game a lot more interesting for many people.

Is Solitude really that barren, I have operated there in the past.

And over time the Jita market will unravel because hisec is no longer connected, so other areas could grow because they have to. So much stuff is moved from Gallente space to Jita.

Your are sarcastic. Reducing highsec connectivity and crippling the Amarr-Jita-Dodixie routes will do nothing good to the game. People will rather flock to connected space around Jita and abandon other space than create new hubs.

I said it before, trade, flow of goods and players is the backbone of EvE. Not having to think about much how to get the modules for your next ship, helps you focus on playing the game. I’m pretty sure most people don’t see the problem “where do I get a ship and it’s modules” as a nice challenge to solve every day while online.

If it had been that way from the start or jita was crippled, then maybe it could work. There would need to be a system in place to stop a Megabus like Jita forming such as limited storage space or a station only having so many market slots total. Sufficient for smaller hubs but not sufficient for a mega hub.

But yeah, in the current scenario, it’s totally as you put it.

Nope.

Many would and conflict in that area will be intense, people often say we need a conflict driver, well there you go, one big one conflict driver, but what will happen to the losers…, they have to go elsewhere and this is where it would get interesting.

Which is part of the reason why the game is so much less, that people don’t strive for anything, I remember going to Stain after eight months of playing and to get the modules and stuff I needed was a real struggle. It made the game a challenge, I had to get better and focus on what I needed. But now I can go buy what I need and the game is less. I have all the T2 production skills trained but never use them because it is all handed to me on a plate.

I think you mean farming in that area will be intense. Not conflict.

And I was told by Tipa that I was sarcastic, it already is and as such people will fight over it. People fight for an easier life, it is human nature.

Then EvE would not be the EvE of today, and maybe I’m a bit exaggerating, long dead. You can’t underestimate a fluid central market to the health of EvE. The time has changed, people get older, or more impatient, and want to spend time on stuff which is fun every day.

It is certainly fun building stuff you could then use, being self-sufficient, hauling stuff across New Eden … for a couple weeks … then this is just chore.

There is nothing to strive for, when I was in Stain it was an effort to exist, I could not easily go to hisec markets, I struggled to go to one market hub in Stain that was heavily camped, WH’s would be located and camped, I had to sneak in and buy stuff. I had to make most of my own stuff. And I had to make do with less optimal solutions and get help from others. That made Eve a great game. The issue is that so many people have lost sight of why this game is great and deep, the deep part of the game is hidden under convenience.

Unlikely in a video game, and especially not in EvE highsec. People will just evade, or quit, or become a nullsec peasant.

Let’s see what happens if Domain and/or Sinq are cut of by lowsec.

Evade or quit are the most likely, or evade and quit later when it’s looking that things won’t improve for them.

Will be interesting at least.

To make it really bite, make it so ISK transfers don’t work outside of a region because the Trigs have blocked it.

are trigs going to be messing will nullsec sov? if not then this system is broken, why let the null players farm in peace and safety? everyone should get wrecked not just the least prepared. or is fair only fair when it doesnt affect you and your interests? if highsec systems are getting dropped to lowsec, then sov systems should be conquered and lost to trig actions too, and low sec? can just be low sec i guess, whatever happens there

PS by the term “you” i mean broadly to anyone related to nullsec sov gameplay, not specifically and focused solely at the poster i replied too.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA…

Clear enough?

This is anti pve and anti majority of all players…

It’s as always…PVP gets pampered(not affected by anything) and PVE has to suffer…

Anybody that does not see it this way is eiher a PVP player(who think it’s his birthright to be pampered) or a fanboy…both options are awful for the game…

  1. Settle down Karen. All we have is hoboleaks strings atm. We don’t know how it’s going to work.
  2. Pre labelling everyone with a differing opinion such you can disregard that opinion… wonderful way to communicate.
  3. How can it be anti PvE when Trigs are PvE. that’s some weird logic.
  4. Citation required any time you try and invoke the ‘majority’ of players.

  1. We KNOW for sure that null is spared again, which is an imposition out of itself.
  2. I’m just giving back what is done to me every time i post here.
You are free to read any thread you like for proof.
  3. HIGH END PVE does not belong into high, this is something that should be in low and null, high should
be some kind of ‘low level area’ like in other games.
  4. OWN numbers of CCP,i guess some kind of poll 2 or 3 years ago(no i will not search for it) 2/3 PVE
players,1/3 PVP player (the in-betweeners like ‘partly PVP’ and those kinds are taken aside).
    Trust CCP’s own numbers?

Ahh Darlo is invoking the majority thing again, most of whom are silent.

It’s easy to speak for the silent majority, they rarely object to what others put in their mouths. ~Abrazzar

Even if it tastes like shite. ~Me
