Back when I actively played the game mechanics allowed players to take care of the lazy and terrible players, then they nerfed or removed those options. Now it seems they’re working on making EVE more dangerous again which I very much approve of. I just feel that if they hadn’t done their carebear stare nonsense the last 10 years they wouldn’t have needed all of this.
Still, this seems to be a good moment in EVE’s timeline to come back to the game and become active again.
So if high-sec systems with blue suns get taken over and turn to low-sec will the big null blocks be able to use the low sec space to jump super cap fleets from one side of New Eden to another. Effectively using possible low-sec bubbles in high-sec to traverse the map.
We don’t know this for sure yet but hoboleaks and common sense suggest this is likely.
Personally, capital-free, CONCORD-free space seems a current gap in what is on offer to Eve players. I hope next week brings something viable along those lines for players to get their game on in.
CCP has this one chance to prove they are not coddling nullsec blocs. We’ll know if that viking spirit is still alive with the devs. Or if they are merely subservient.
They most certainly are low effort as they just sit in systems no one can avoid.
Not at all, it would create an interesting change.
I am keeping an eye on this, because I rather like the Trigs as a concept and I was setup to fight against them, however the resist nerf was rather nasty for most of the fits I had for this and this fact makes me uncertain. One of the systems that is on their list is where I have most of my stuff so I could have fun without having to move around much. So if this happens after I have completed the work in my house I might sub my two accounts for a month to muck around with it.
