So what ? You can only focus on one screen at a time. It does not matter if you switch back and forth every 2 seconds…by definition you spend 30 seconds of every minute not looking at one of them. If you have 6 screens, then you are spending 50 minutes every hour not looking at 5 of them. If a miner was AFK from ONE screen for 50 mins every hour Aiko would be up in arms…citing CODE violation xyz…yet some multiboxer can effectively be absent from screens for the same period every hour and …oh…it’s conveniently ‘pedantic’…lol !

Well, I can’t even focus on 100% of the entirety of one screen either. I can maybe pay attention to a third of it at any given time. Like, say, I can be reading the chat window, or looking at the overview, or looking at the space in the middle. Does that mean I’m 2/3 AFK even with just one client?

No…but I think any rational person ( who knows…there might even be some in Eve ) would agree that there is at least some degree of hypocrisy in multiboxers rattling on about the evil of people being ‘AFK’. It may not be of the same degree or kind, but there is definitely a double standard there.

An you don’t consider multiboxing to be AFK ? In the literal technical sense a person may be ‘at their keyboard’, but if they are not always looking at a particular screen then they are just as much ‘AFK’ as anyone watching Home & Away with Eve minimised.

Oh for the love of god. Are you being for real?

You get that multi boxers are not running 6 different accounts that are in 6 different regions of space?

For example if I am running my two accounts together I am mining. I.e. same system so…… same local. So if I’m looking at local chat on one account it’s the same as on the other. I’m getting intel for both.

I’m my case they are both in the same belt. So if I dscan on one. It will return exactly the same result as the other. So again doing it for one does it for both.

And most importantly if I am looking at the screen for one character I can see the other one right there next to me.

Gankers are no different. They need the numbers for the gank. It’s not like all their alts are scattered around new Eden and active intel checks need to be done on ever character constantly.

Comparing this to being AFK may be the stupidest thing you have said to date and that’s quite an achievement.

I look forward to June/July when in usual fashion you will make the complete opposite argument and present it like some great epiphany on your voyage of self discovery.
