I am just rather amused at the simple fact that a comment on the use of local in busy systems to identify incoming gankers gets turned into a yes/no answer on whether off the track systems that are also not on pipes are safer. Cathy Newman indeed.
I am talking about Destinyâs inability to put down a war HQ, that pathetic challenge has already been rejected.
And on that note I have some other stuff to go do, was fun while I was waiting for something to finishâŚ
Stop confusing the issue with needless words. To summarise the previous discussion:
-You told a new player that it was impossible to avoid gankers.
-I pointed out that it wasnât and using local and dscan made it very possible to avoid gankers
-You said ânot in busy systemsâ
-I said well why mine in busy systems. Go somewhere where there are only 4 or 5 people in local and plenty belts. Itâs safe as houses.
-You declared these systems as non existent and what i was suggesting impossible and proceeded to bring up my zkill as a way of trying to discredit me.
-I highlighted how my zkill actually highlighted the issue perfectly. Showing several mining ship loses in busy areas and then no loses after i moved to quieter systems.
-You did your blah blah blah thing and put me on ignore.
And now you are refusing to answer a direct yes or no question. Is it safer to mine in quieter systems.
Because you know if you answer it honestly you have to concede a point and your ego is incapable of doing that. And if you answer dishonestly you will look silly.

I was also intrigued at the time because I had been warned by a moderator for going off topic, so I was fascinated if that same moderator would react to you, and he of course failed that test.

Yeah Cathy Newman style silliness, a really classic what you are saying, which had no relation to the original point.
I think now you have something to prove to everyone, at least in my opinion.
Still I do understand that if you have a big enough group of enemies that will come after you there is not much you can do and you will have to suck that loss at some point.

All that matters is that when you posed the challenge to me to launch a war HQ and declare war on you, I pretty much instantly agreed, and you responded by telling me that youâre not going to play.
Whether or not I declare war on parties who arenât you is about as much your business as where you mine ice is mine.
Having a War HQ does not appear to be a barrier for Destiny to enjoy the game or engage in the gameplay they want to take part in.
Itâs a barrier you are creating to avoid the challenge. And on that note Destiny has said that a War HQ can be arranged if you agree to engage with the challenge. Given you have refused i donât see why a War HQ or lack thereof is relevant at all.
Nah. We are beyond that now. See Drac has a win condition in his head. He may be chickening out of the challenge but in his head he thinks if constantly brings up a War HQ he may eventually shame you into putting one up in the vein hope he will participate. To prove a point. And if you do that he then turn that into his victory. âI manipulated you into spending that iskâ

I was just drawing parallels between occassions when you have done the âblah blah blahâ thing and put people on ignore. It is ALWAYS and without question when you have doubled down on the most ridiculous positions.
But asides from that you answer in vague non commital ways. I dont think think there is any harm in asking you to be clear in your responses to avoid any confusion about what you are actually saying.

You told me that I was not going to play, by telling me that I would not log in, that my current location was hiding in some rental hell hole etc. And I asked whether you were a hunter killer or not, just sitting at a market hub does not make you one.
I repeat, I replied to someone who said watch local, he did not even mention D-scan, I told him that this was not exactly easy in a busy system and you went off on a wild and windy tangent for some odd reason.
I decided that the tangent was so obvious that I just watched you go on and on and on, but in the end you even bored me so I ignored you to shut you up. I did wonder what happened to that ISD who told me off for going off topic was doing?
