Having a following and enriching people’s lives aren’t always mutually inclusive. Some people might like you just because your platforms align, or maybe you just “got to them first.” It doesn’t mean that they’re actually better off from the association. You have a humorless, controlling, defeatist attitude, which doesn’t actually improve the lives of people around you. Kind of like I see some members of carebear corporations worship their ignorant CEOs, just because they look up to the position of power, and are ignorant to the fact that they’re actually being mistreated.

I think it’s patently obvious that Destiny can put down a war headquarters. The question is whether it’s worth doing, as you will refuse to undock.
My guess is that he’d take the expenditure of station fuel and war costs and claim that as a financial victory of sorts, by saying that I spent money and he didn’t, therefore he won.

My dear boy, when we put down a war HQ we compare the Ganker perches, the destruction and loot value thereof, because they are not the same thing as in people will sometimes ninja loot stuff, to the value of our war HQ. Another cost is the cost of doing war which is 100m, fuel is also another cost. This is part of doing Eve, do we play the same game?

Absolutely…and you comparing sitting motionless in an asteroid belt with two ships right next to each other with gankers who are on the move or even solo ganking with craft separated by tens of kilometers…is what is ‘unreal’.
What’s more, with the short firing range of a Catalyst , your ‘right next to each other’ is meaningless. I very much doubt if you have two barges literally side by side 500m apart…as one would get in the way of the other if you had to flee. SO…you don’t know that the barge you are not paying attention to isn’t the one the Catalyst will warp in right next to !

It’s an orca and an exhumer. And the exhumer sits within 2.5km of the orca at all times so it can use the fleet hanger.
But even if it was 100km away it would make no difference. Local would be the same, dscan would be the same. And id see both ships on the screen as I am always zoomed out to see 200km so i can see things moving on and off grid.
But irrespective of which screen I’m looking at i see the catalyst (or catalysts) on dscan at the same time and can get the exhumer off grid as quickly as i can switch windows and warp.

Nah…I sold both my Procurers. ‘Mining’ is just something I do for 15 mins now and then in a Venture when I switch accounts so the gankers don’t get too familiar with my trade routes. I think I probably make the vast sum of 5m ISK a week from mining.
