Iāve played Eve for over ten years and I am having the exact same experience you are.
D-scan is a black art (one that can be very important in Eve).
Practice is the key I am afraid.

Honest opinion this even it good for people to start to learn D-scan. But honestly that something the damn tutorial should teach you. A good game does not hold your hand but the tutorial should tech you itĀ“s mechanics. I mean eve tutorial and career agents already teaches you how to change ship,chance fit, how to scan and so on. So it should bloody teach new players about D-scan not some damn youtuber should teach you what they game should be doing.
I also want to add that think every one should share information with each other and help out so every one can have a good fun events. In my opinion events is something every one should do have have fun doing. Why give a ratts ass about if it makes you isk or not. Why are people so gungho on that and as for veterans so what if noobs get good info and make a little bit of isk you ass hats already have billions. And if people are so damn afraid of not making enough isk on events maybe CCP should make so every damn event item for events can not be sold.

Guys, I have narrowed it down to a point that has like 7 moons.
I war thereā¦and after that how do you lock on every moon? I mean you canāt use āLook ATā and scanā¦

Otherwise being a new player, trying to play a game like this without the owners support, I mean sorry to say this but the game should be entertaining not a damn Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert Certification exam.

I usually warp to the planet; this allows me to āspin aroundā. Also, as a configuration, I toggle auto tracking, narrow the field to 5 degrees and point to each moon and asteroid belt.

narrow the angle down to 5 degrees. Hold the v key down and click on each moon in your overview. Your dscan info should change each time you click a different moon. Warp to the moon that the capsule is on.

can normal sites spawn in gallennte space/amarr ?

You can dscan it down to one particular moon if you want. You pinpoint which planet, then zoom in your scan window and narrow the angle to 5%.

Warp to the planet. On D-Scan set range to 1 AU and angle to 5. Right click on moon in overview and select Track. Press SCAN. Repeat for each moon.

Final npc may change and have different stats, some hurts more.
I think waves are timed and you may have not finish first one when second come in.

Yes, the normal sites spawn in all systems.

How many people are in local? Go to areas that are less travelled. I have five on my overview right now.
Im guessing this does not apply for nullā¦ I am in dead areas of null and jumped over 40 systems, only found 2

Lots of crying everywhere about how the site is too hard to solo for a new player. Have you considered the possibility that it is meant to encourage people to work together and party up? You can get one or two bros and just flit around scanning down eggs, then head to the easter basket together.
They should do more to encourage usage of logistics frigates and small-ship groups imo. Big Boat Blobs are the most boring part of the entire game in my (admittedly limited) experience.
I can agree with that but 2 things first of a game where back stabbing is common thing you have to pick friends you can trust. Second not all new players maybe has friends to play with or have found a corp they hang with which also comes back to back stabbing just because you recently found a corp does not mean you should trust them right away. Reason this would be best solo is you know no one will suddenly turn their guns on you because ass hats wantĀ“s to have their fun.

I managed to do the hisec sites in an Algos.
Here is my (far from optimal, but it works for me) fit:
The fit costs around 7,5 Million and I have ~1,3 Million SP on my Alpha Clone.
Occasionally I still have to hold my breath in the first pocket, but so far I managed to finish site 4 or 5 times. In the 2nd pocket i turn everything on (Afterburner, Hull & Armor Repair, Drones & Guns), orbit and burn him down. He gets me sometimes to about 50% hull, but goes down quite fast as well. Sometimes I have to use 1 cap booster for him.
So far, the event is āmanagebleā for me, nevertheless I wouldnāt be suprised if they blow me up once in a whileā¦
End up loosing 7 hobgoblins, even if I micromanage and around 20 cap boosters every time, so I have to restock if I want to do it again.

I donāt get it. As a new player iām sort of scratching my head at what this is about and what i am suppose to do.
Other than there just being a lot of marketing about ālet the hunt beginā where is the information i am suppose to consume and enjoy this ācontentā???

Despite their claims to the contrary if you really are a new player this event is not meant for you at all.
The difficulty level of the event sites makes it so unless you have high skills and a very expensive fit youāre just going to die horribly.
