The Hypocrisy Of The 'I Hate PvP' Miners

Ok…

I’ll just agree to disagree, I agree with your points, I would also just mine regardless. if it had 0 value, I would still mine, and build myself. Not to say some do not rely on it, EVE is complex, people do things for different reasons  Some can mine, to reprocess, to then do indie. And construct ships/equipment for themselves, so, not at all reliant on destruction.

You can mine to build for yourself.

I’d really rather watch my dog touch grass…

It makes no sense to YOU…but 75%(aka the rest of the server) does not see it as a real problem…

happy ragequit for you too…

This has nothing to do with what i said…it’s just ranting out stupid real life comparisms, some of them are even crimes…so how is that an argument against what i stated? You are fishing for straws to not drown in my river of facts if you get the picture…

People like him will NEVER get this…it is comepletely out of their world…

hahaha, the activity itself is boring yes, but if you’re minign to build yourself a fancy ship, or with friends, it’s more a campfire like activity

Only in the us this would you cost your job…in civilized countries in europe there are large barriers about firing someone… In Germany for example you get at least 4 weeks notice after 1/2 year in the company up to 9 MONTHS after 20 years…this is considered normal here…so no hire and fire on the spot…you actually have to do something really wrong for that even being considered and even in that cases you need at least one written warning by your employer or the court rejects it. Not to mention that you simply call in sick(unlimited sick days) and the employer still has to fully pay you for a maximum of six weeks if you send in a doctors notice …this is the law…

nothing of what you said is problematic…not even to the slightest…

You don’t have an issue with billionaires using social media to condition you? Okay then…enjoy your facebook, I will continue to not use it.

You typed a load of nonsense. I responded accordingly.

God no. I really don’t want to do anything that I’ll have to endure again when I get to my life review at the big bright light at the end of the tunnel.

What miners seem to not understand is that ore prices are not seeded by FCCCP. The value of ore is set by the player base. No demand, no profit…

I think most do realize ore is supply-driven, no?

Is that not what I said?

“What miners seem to not understand”… I’m saying that I think most do in fact understand.

Proof please? From what I read on the forums, they don’t. They seem to think that if there is no demand, they will still get paid for their ore?

I’m unable to “prove” this - it’s just my take (emphasis on “I think”). I thought (again, “thinking”) it was a given that EVE’s economy is generally supply and demand driven.

If most miners (or players) really are this dumb (or ignorant), I guess it could explain a lot… or nothing at all.

Which is to say that I’m really starting to loathe mining now… I have to be careful, though - if I I get too jaded @Aiko_Danuja might ‘STFU and buy me a sandwich’ (pulling me over to the dark ganking side).

Pretty sure she’d earn quite a bit of karma with BOB for converting a fat carebear like me…
