… after login in the activity track was gone, so two of my characters could not complete it, and they were about to!
I looked the date several times yesterday to make sure it says 16th, so why was the track ended a day earlier???

Ended at dt so if you tried to open it after dt, thats why

what’s dt? downtime?!? that was supposed to happen tomorrow, i got the last gift of the daily log in today after the “dt”, so why were the two tracks offset by a day, wtf, why can’t CCP be consistent or at least provide some info INSIDE the game as to what was to happen! The first time I decided to do a track, and put all the time, and it got all screwed up thanks to CCP!

Because the track bugged out on many of us and we couldnt click to obtain the rewards. They compensated by extending it one day.
It seems though that even after ive clicked every reward since the start of the event…not skipping any days at all…that ill still miss out on the last day.
Im at work right now so i cant look at it. Guess ill find out later today.

If you’re one of the people who missed a reward due to the bug earlier in the week, like me, then you will get your final rewards when you log in, so long as you log in before dt tomorrow.

When it says a particular date, it always ends at DT on that date. So everything was correct.
Daily login track was extended, but only login track because that thing malfunctioned 1 day. CCP did provide info about it. They just don’t do it in-game. You have to keep up with their blogs and statements yourself. I only look at the forums and dev blogs and none of their other channels, and I knew ahead of time that the login track would go on +1 day.

Timezones.
Anything CCP posts a date and time for is iceland date and time. If you live somewhere that is say 5 hours behind iceland, it doesn’t match up.

That is where they should do it, Not only I don’t sit on social media to read for any issues with the game, I wasn’t even aware so even if I did use social media for that, I wouldn’t have known that I need to go there and read about it!!!
Which is why this kind of changes should happen IN THE GAME, so they can reach the highest number of players! They should have a way to notify us, by having a special part of interface in the game about system messages, like how the mailing system is, or the one that notifies you about completed skills, standing chances, server shutdown, etc, but separate and should pop on the screen at log in, just like the ones we got for the presidential even - initially and when the escalation occurred. It is a 20 year old game, they should have had this in place by now.

I get the timezone part, which is why I don’t understand why CCP hasn’t accounted for that, the fact that I live in USA on the pacific coast, means the downtime happens at 4am, and because of that I couldn’t mine ANY Scordite during the first week of event as by the time I was ready to play which is in the afternoon/evening hours, all of the Scordite was mined out and there was no Scordite in any of the systems in the region I was playing. The only wat was to get lucky with some of the missions that happened to have some Scordite in them. So I had to plan the rest of all I had to do in order to accommodate for being in such time zone.
Anyways, because of the timezones they should have had at least one extra day so I get the full day of 16th not 4 hours. but because they didn’t I lost at least 9 presidential candidate favors, as I couldn’t finish the seasonal track on 2 characters and was about to finish a mining tracks, so that’s 9 of these, plus all the lesser currency that I was going to earn in order to reach the 1500 points!
If they vendors are still here they should have allowed the track to be completed until the entire event and its vendors are gone by 17th!
You got just as much time as anyone else to do the event. And these things always end at downtime.
As for the missing scordite, count it as a blessing, because that’s the slowest way to do the event. Level 1 security agents are easy and always available (and career agents counted as well).
This event had a wider variety of activities and was doable for new players just as well. I’d say this is the best event so far.

No I did not! And I explained why, and yet you still want to argue the opposite. Anyone whose time zone was eastern than mine got at least an hour extra time, So if you live in Australia or any of the countries that are in the same time zones you got 8 to 11 hours more that someone who lives in the same time zone as Island, let alone someone who is 7 hours after Island!!!
Also mining Scordite was the only way to advance the track while being away from the computer or be at the computer but do something else while waiting on the ore hold to get full!
And finally, I already said that I don’t do these and this is the first time I went all the way and on multiple characters, I wrote it above you should have read that, The fact that they finally decided to include “security missions” track and “Scordite mining” track, rather than going into the same looking designated rooms to kill event only rats and mine event only resources, is what appealed to me, otherwise I would have ignored it as I have ignored similar activities before. Doing missions was the main activity I did and past its own track, then buying items, and mining was the last and I didn’t get it done on all as it was taking too long on the alphas.
This thread is not to provide a feedback on the variety of activities for the event, it is to let them know that some players due to the timezones are at disadvantage, so in order to give them time to catch up they at least should make sure that the last day of the event is a full DAY for everyone!
All events start and end at downtime. Always has.
So if the next event starts may 19th, it will start from dt on the 19th. If it ends on June 16th, it will end at downtime on June 16th.
Just cause we are on the east coast doesnt mean ■■■■ to ccp. 11am their time is when they want to do it. Irregardless that it is 6am or 7am for us on the eastern coast of the u.s.

I was able to complete 30k m3 of mining one day, and I never went back to it. The time it would have taken to complete all mining tier challenges was way out of proportion with some of the other challenges (like the aforementioned sec level 1 missions). Me, who I had managed to bypass the missioning part of EVE all this time, got ‘‘tricked’’ into doing them now, in my 17th year in EVE. But I ran them with my guy and did some roleplay and managed to have some fun. At least they went fast.

False. The event was from 11AM day 1 to 11AM day 28. There is no extra hour anywhere. That’s not how the server works.
Gallente Election YC128 is a limited time event from 19th March to 16th April 2026, downtime to downtime.
If for you locally that means it finishes earlier, that also means it started earlier.

When do the event locations disappear from dodi? i assume you can still purchase those officer modules.
11 am over there is 4 am over here, and 8 pm someplace else. Do you understand that people don’t live their lives according to the time zone of CCP headquarters??? EvE is not the only MMO I have played and I don’t remember a single case where a deadline was cut right in the middle of the actual date it was always extended past that day and up till the downtime on the next day, what’s even worse is that unlike the other games that have an Asian Server, a North American, an Europian, etc so that the times zones are close to each other and the downtime affects every player the same way, EvE servers aren’t like this, so that’s one more reason to extend that - so if the info in the agency about the presidential event says 16th, I get to use the entirety of 16th as it is on my side of the world, not 4 hours right in the middle of the night!
They disappeared from my view a few hours after up-time.
The Beacon was also gone.

As I told you, EVE FOLLOWS iceland time. So yes when it says 11am, it means 11am in ICELAND.
I believe they updated to remain until the 23rd
