I think this is a situation where they made a mistake and instead of ," well shucks, oh well" it’s blame ccp, make up new time mechanics and talk ■■■■ to people that understand how time works.
I may be the only one who brought it up but it would affect positively everyone else including those that aren’t in my time zone, that change is not going to affect my account only! So what I am suggesting in reality and what you think I am suggesting are two different things.
Ok let’s put your change in…now the event ends on the 17th, the next person is going to come by and demand they get another day too…where does it stop? You had the same amount of time as everyone else, when a store is open until the 12am, they don’t stay open for the hole 12am hour, same with dates. The event lasted until the 16th at downtime. You had the same 672 hours as everyone else.

I have already explained that, and I was pretty clear and detailed about it, you and some other guy in my time zone who fits the profile “some American who doesn’t understand how the time zones work” - go read it, I am not explaining the same thing twice!

Heads up 9 days before it happens. Capsuleer day will be from downtime to downtime, starting april 30th.
The last week, starting may 26th the event reward track will expand, and downtime on the 1st it will end.
Plan ahead since you’ve recently learned that timezones exist.

Downtime on the morning of the 2nd, but yes 
I’ve been playing Eve for a very long time and have always understood that events always end at DT on the date specified, regardless of the fact that in my time zone, it’s only 4 hrs into that specific day…
However for this event, due to the technical mishap and subsequent 1 day extension of the Event Log-in reward track, I mistakenly thought the in-game event was also extended for 1 more day…
As such, I was surprised and disappointed after log-in to realize that the event itself wasn’t extended, only the event Log-in reward track was extended…
You think that’s gonna prevent the complaint threads?
