It’s good to protect Linux from patent claims as the courts also use patents to prosecute in criminal courts as well.
It would help them to design systems which can be used by the courts to prosecute others instead.
Mind you, I am not a party to this kind of one sided model, and I believe all parties should be equally responsible, and get equal rewards, as for the courts, and legislators.
Still, it may be better for Linux and Open Source system, even though Linux systems are not only Open Source, even though I didn’t read the article yet, I’m still in the same courts for that, and will still need more security for my family and income.
It can be overly alienating, besides the overcharging.
Lots of discrediting, enough to be worst than overcharging and worst than marginalize parties into enmities and control economic benefit to society and other control of benefit to society.
Of course, one may be wise to keep track of it, since those trying to justify this also try to cover it so they can keep their source of income.
Not much different than slavery, where those working are not paid enough, yet, are forced to do it by being kept and led into it.

He made another thread today, about himself and quitting again, and now the entire thread is gone. No trace of it whatsoever. He kept referring to himself as the most prolific poster and attacked CCP, CSM and the entire community, repeatedly. I’m glad it’s over.

It is normal for companies to have regional policies. For example Carl’s Jr. doesn’t run commercials here like they do in the U.S…RTÜK(the governing body for regulating TV content) would shut down the TV channel after the first commercial aired. Speaking of shutting down, there were companies here who got so disgusted by Elon Musk smoking pot on a radio talk show that they cancelled their Tesla Model 3 orders.

Well, it was a desperate weapon built to attack the Panama Canal, so toher than that we don’t really know what use it would have had nro in what horrible way it would had died if it ever entered combat. Such a large submarine would be very sluggish to submerge, slow to move and change depth and a massive echo for any DD sonaring it. Canned dead meat.

Reading about Fallout 76, looks like it’s that kind fo game that jumps the shark for a franchise. All franchises have one, and Fallout 76 promises that no more Fallout games will be made ever. They’re talking even about a bug(?) that ties game velocity to framerate so players with high end cards running at high FPS can literally outrun other players with slower systems… what oh what could go wrong with that in a multiplayer game…?
