  1. Buy stuff from amazon and make your home “smart”
  2. Some jerk accuses you falsely of racism, because he “heard something” from the doorbell
  3. Amazon immediately blocks your devices without evidence.
  4. Owners face when they return to home and nothing works:

Imagine worse thing happens. Your bank account gets blocked because system thinks you cheated, and you cant do literally anything, as everything you always paid with was plastic. No cash in the pockets, nothing. That happened to a guy here in Poland few days ago, he survived only because friends helped him with cash.

Today I treated myself by going to the local game club. I installed EVE there and people quickly gathered behind me, looking at my monitor, saying “What game is this? Oh I know, its the game where when you die, the game is over.”

They’re right in a sense. If you undock what you can’t afford to lose and get popped, you die suffering a major heart attack irl. :man_teacher: :man_shrugging:

Today i Learned: some things work better when you follow instructions. Looking at an old photo I noticed that the adhesive hanger for kitchen rags in the picture is the same we still have now in the kitchen -and the picture is at least 8 years old! Not bad for a rag hanger bought from a Chinese shop… but I followed instructions! I washed the location with dish soap, rinsed with water and let it dry completely; I pressed the hanger on the wall for one whole minute; and then I told my mother to not put any weight on it for 24 hours… and there it is, 8 years later still holding kitchen rags like a champ.

And it’s kinda cute, too.

Nighties lovelies!

These were popular here many years ago

Brother also had a rubber ninja turtle with moving hands and legs and head. We used it for all kinds of arrangements, as a parachuter also, and parachute was made of a plastic bag.

That’s cute. What is that used for? “Kaplumbağalar” means “Turtles” in Turkish.
